Day 2: we're friends, and we will always be

"Are you sure?" Jimin-ssi asked me. I'm still hesitating about my decision, but I can't stand it. I wanna tell it to her so badly.

"I don't want to be a coward man. I told you, I'll do this." I reassured him. "Well, good luck bro. We all know that Chae is focused on her work right?" He stated that made me doubt my next actions.

"Of course we do. I also do know that. But why don't we give it a try?"

"Fine. Good luck my dear Jungkook-shi. Hwaiting!" He cheered me up with his clingy words again aish~ "Yah stop calling me my dear Jungkook-shi." I annoyingly said.

"Why?"

"I hate it." I turned my back on him to go now with a smirk on my face. "Whatever." I heard him say but I continue to walk.

Where on earth is she? It's our break and I know she's eating by now. But I didn't see her at the cafeteria. So I decided to go out the building when I saw her walking back with a guy.

"Oh Kook-ssi!" She bubbly said. "Oh annyeong. I thought you were at the cafeteria." I replied while looking at the guy from head to toe.

"Ah I just grabbed my lunch just now. How about you? Did you already eat?" She asked. One of the reason why I fell for her.

Her kindness.

"Yeah, I had it with Jimin-ssi." I bite my lips, I don't like what I'm seeing right now. The girl I like is with another guy. I really don't like it. Please make him leave...

"Oh by the way, I have to go now Chaeng. Thanks for coming with me today, 'til next time." The tall guy said.

Mwo? Until next time? Is he planning to meet her again? No. I won't let that happen.

"Arasseo. Take care." She said and he already went to his direction away from us.

Finally, it's just the two of us.

"Hey, is there any problem?" She concernedly asked. "Who is he?" I asked, as if I'm her boyfriend. 

"Him? His name is Jaehyun. He's my college friend." She said and cling to my arms. "Let's go upstairs." She started walking so I just follow whenever she wanna go.

"But why didn't you introduce him to me earlier?" I curiously asked while heading upstairs. "No need. I'll tell it to you afterwards tho. And, he's not good at making friends. He's an introvert." She answered that made me look at her more curiously.

"If he's an introvert, then why are you able to be friends with him?"

"Hahaha I approach him first because he seems so lonely. He ignored me the first time, but the second time I talk to him... he seems comfortable that's why we became friends." Tsk, she really approached that guy? Psh, I felt a sudden jealousy here in my heart that only beats for her.

"You two seems so very close huh." I am not looking at her right now. I just feel disappointed, because they look so close than us.

"Not really. We're closer than you think." She said. I stopped from walking causing her arms to be slipped away from my arms.

"Rosé-shi."

"Wae? What's wrong?"

"Actually, I wanna confess something." She looks interested after hearing what I said. "Hmm go on. What is it?" She's just looking at me, clueless on what I'm about to say.

It's now or never Jeon Jungkook...

"Your friend... actually have feelings for you." I nervously confessed. Hoping for a good response...

"My friend? Who? Jaehyun-ah? Aniyo, he's taken already lol." She laughed at me.

"No. I'm not talking about him."

"Aish. Then who? I have lots of friend here so I don't know which one of them." She tilt her head waiting for me to speak which made her cute. Agh!

"Your friend you're talking to right now." I looked straightly at her and she looks to be taken aback. "You mean... you?"

"Yes."

"Aigoo Jungkook-ah! What are you saying? You know we're friends right?" She asked me and laughed awkwardly after that.

"I'm aware of that. But the only thing that I'm not aware of, is my feelings. It started to develop on it's own Chae."

"Yah, have you lost your mind Kook-ssi? I'm telling you... you shouldn't be liking me or what." She smiled at me. "Why? Am I not allowed to like you tho?"

"It's not that. But you and I are friends Jungkook-ah. And we will always be." She said before asking me to go back to our office.

She left me unspoken.

She left me with no words.

She left me speechless.

She left me with her words that cut deeper like a sword.

"But you and I are friends Jungkook-ah. And we will always be." 

Her words hurts the most. Perhaps Jimin-ssi is correct, but that will not make me give up on her. She is so precious and worth it. I'll continue my feelings for her, and I will never make my heart stop beating for her. Never.
