Day 7: i'll always be your light

"Ooh, that's a high quality necklace Chaeng."

"Yeah right? That's from a big brand of accessories here in Seoul."

"Did you buy it?"

"Or... did someone gave that to you?"

All of the girls in our office surrounds her because of her necklace. I don't know, that kind of personalized necklace is on trend nowadays. No wonder, why they act like that and ask her too much about it.

"I didn't buy it guys." Chae responded.

"So someone gave that to you?"

"Who gave that to you?"

"Was it Jeon Jungkook?" One of them guessed it right.

"Yes, I gave that to her. No more questions guys. We have to start working by now." I told them and they went back to their seats.

"Where's Jimin-shi by the way?" I asked one of them. "Aigoo I bet his late this time. Jimin-ah is always early but I guess he's gonna be late for today." She answered.

"Aish, the meeting will start in 15 minutes." I sighed and took my seat. "Uh, if ever he can't make it to the presentation... I can replace him for today." I looked at the girl who suggested.

"Do you know something about the proposal that he is handling?" I asked Rosé. Seriously Chae, you have lots of things to do yet you have the guts to volunteer for today's meeting?

She is so damn unbelievable. 

"Yes, I'm knowledgeable about it. Jimin-shi once told me about it. I got interested and searched it up. I have done a research, summary, and some info's about it during my free time at home." She's smiling at me as if she can do anything on her own.

"But Rosé--"

"Trust me Jungkook-ah."

Aish... Only if I knew something about this proposal, I'll be the one to attend the meeting. But nah, his proposal is different from mine. And I have lots of agendas to do.

"Arasseo. But only if he can't make it before 15 minutes." I worriedly looked at her. "Alright. Thank you!" She get back to work.

When it comes to work... she's really determined. She's just admirable.

"He's not coming Jungkook-ah. I'll take over the meeting." Rosé confidently said, the documents are all in her arms.

"Aigoo that man. Alright, do I need to accompany you? For help in case?" I suggested. "No need Jungkook-ah. I can do it, trust me." She already went to the meeting room.

Aish! What happened to Jimin-shi?

I dialed his number but no one's answering the call. So I just decided to text him.

Bruh. 

| yah! Where the heck are you? You have a meeting today, what happened?

I sighed in disappointment. I hope Rosé is doing alright. Aish! I cannot enter the meeting room, they'll be interrupted.

Cross fingers. 

"Trust Chaeng, Jungkook-shi. She's smart enough." One co-worker said behind me. "I trust her, but I can't stop worrying." I replied while playing with the ballpen.
