It had been a while since Quinn last spoke to Draco, in class he wouldn't pay any attention to her. In fact, he acted although Quinn wasn't even there. Of course this furiated her, but she didn't want to get involved with a boy who was embarrassed by her.

It was now winter and the grounds of Hogwarts were covered in soft snow. The castle looked even more beautiful in the winter, with the snowflakes falling in front of her face and her red nose getting colder by the second. She stood with Hermione and Ron, admiring a building in the distance. The three of them stood beside each other as Hermione explained what the building was. "Its meant to be the most haunted building in Britain." she said, making Quinn a little queasy as she stood so close to it. She never believed in ghosts, but when her brothers told her about the ghosts that would wonder about the castle and start conversations at lunch, she had no choice but to believe in them.

As Quinn was soaking in the beautiful scenery she heard a voice behind her. "Well, well. look who's here." Draco said as he slid down a small snow slope. He avoided eye contact with Quinn and focused on Hermione and Ron. "yous three shopping for your dream home?" this was the first time in weeks that Draco had acknowledged her, and of course it had to be an insult. He edged closer to them and continued. "Seems a bit grand for you, Weasel-Bee." he said to Ron. "don't your family sleep in one room?" Draco was right next to her but was looking at Ron, his two friends standing further back. Draco wore a fluffy hat and bits of his blonde hair was sticking out the sides.

"Shut your mouth, Malfoy." Ron said, cowardly.

"Oh, not very friendly." Draco replied back, switching his gaze from Ron to Quinn for a few seconds and back, almost like he couldn't help himself but look at her. "Boys, I think its time we teach Weasle-Bee how to respect his superiors." he fixed his coat and Hermione laughed, this threw him off a bit.

"I hope you don't mean yourself."

Quinn wanted to stay quiet so badly so she didn't cause a scene and she didn't want to cause anymore bad-blood between her and Draco but in the heat of the moment she blurted out "Shut up, you pathetic maggot!"

Draco went to open his mouth to respond, his eyes filled with anger but before he could, a perfectly round snowball hit him in the face, Draco and his friends were confused and so was Quinn until Hermione quietly told her it was Harry under his invisibly cloak. When she knew who it was she couldn't stop laughing along with Ron and Hermione. Just then, another ball hit him, and then another. Draco grew agitated and shouted at his friends, but they were both covered in snow and one was laying on the ground with his trousers around his ankles.

Draco tripped over his friend on the ground as he watching his other being pulled in circles by his scarf. He sat in the snow for a few seconds in confusion before his legs were lifted and dragged along the ground, he was screaming and shouting for help. Quinn was doubled over with laughter, but started to feel a little bad. Draco got up and scrambled up the hill with his friends, fear in his eyes. Quinn didn't know whether to laugh or run after him to see if he was okay. But before she could decide she felt Harry tugging on her hair before revealing himself to them.

She stopped feeling bad when she saw that Ron, Hermione and Harry were all in a fit of giggles.
