The rest of the day was particularly boring. Studying in the afternoon in the library, then studying at night in her room. By the time the clock had reached 2am, she grabbed her lantern and left her room quietly. Quinn was desperate to see the castle in all its glory, not when she was getting shoved about in the busy corridors by boys that were bigger than her because she was late to class, so the best time she thought was at night where nobody was around. Her brothers were very well behaved and were too scared to be caught by a teacher when sneaking around at night, so they avoided it.

The only time she really saw the castle was when she first arrived, but it was the outside entrance and it was too dark to see much anyways, so off she went, walking along the stone corridors herself, using her lantern to see a couple inches in front of her.

As she was admiring the stone work on one of the walls, she heard footsteps walking slowly towards her. She wanted to call out and see who it was, but more likely than not - it was going to be a teacher. She turned her lantern off when she knew the person was just around the corner. Although she could have used the excuse that she didn't know she couldn't do specific things because she was new, something told her that if Snape turned the corner, that wouldn't be a good enough excuse to be out of bed at this time.

"Ow!" the person said very loudly, Quinn turned her lantern back on to see Draco standing there - clutching his arm in pain, he clearly hit it off the wall without realising how close he was to it. "What the-" he said, turning to see the unknown light that just turned on. "oh , it's you." he growled. "Out of my way!" he said, clearly in a lot of pain.

"A-are you okay?" Quinn asked, ignoring the rudeness. Draco looked a little shocked at the fact this girl he had been bullying was asking if he was okay, but this didn't mean he was going to change his attitude towards her.

"No! Of course I'm not okay. You were there. You saw what happened." Draco started to walk away from her until they started to hear footsteps quicken in their direction. "Snape!" he silently shouted to Quinn, his eyes widening - clearly scared of whatever punishment Snape was going to give them if they were caught.

Quinn grabbed Draco's good arm and pulled open a door that was right behind them. She didn't know where it led to, all she knew what it could potentially save them. It could have been a classroom or a broom closet. When they turned around, looking at the shelves with the littlest bit of light from Quinn's lantern, they could see all different types of potions stacked up. They knew they were safe. "Get off me!" Draco squirmed, pulling his arm out Quinn's grip. She shushed him, which he didn't like. "Don't tell me what to-" he was interrupted with Quinn's hand flying over his mouth, forcing him to be quiet. It was complete silence in the cupboard, but then they heard Snape stop right outside.

Quinn silently cursed, hoping and praying they weren't going to get caught. Draco came to the realisation that if he was caught then he would have hours in detention, so he let Quinn's hand stay over his mouth to stop him from making any sounds by accident. A few moments went by and the footsteps started walking further away from them. They were lucky. Quinn took her hand off Draco and apologised. Although Draco was thankful, he didn't want her to know that. "Don't touch me again." was the last thing he said before pushing open the doors that led to the corridors and off he went - disappearing into the dark.

Quinn had enough of sneaking around and nearly getting caught so she went back to her room, quietly walking down the corridors and peeking around corners before she found herself at the foot of her own bed. She smiled contentedly, getting into the sheets. She was never going to do that again.

In the morning her first class was 'defence against the dark arts.' something she was looking forward to. The teacher she met on the train was the one who taught it, this was also why she was looking forward to it - he seemed friendly. Once again she felt herself lost, trying her hardest to remember the layout of the castle, eventually she did. She walked into a full class - a certain student stood out to her. It was Draco. Is there any class she doesn't have with him?

Quinn stood next to her friends, Hermione smiling at her when she noticed her. "Does anybody know what's inside?" Lupin asked, talking about a cupboard that kept moving and shaking. Quinn had never seen one of these before.

"It's a Boggart!" Hermione replied. "It's a shapeshifter, it takes the form of what that person fears the most." Quinn's stomach dropped. Of course she didn't want to see what was inside. Lupin went on to tell us how to repel a boggart.

"Repeat after me! Riddikulus!" everyone kept saying it over and over until they memorised it.

"This class is ridiculous." she heard Draco whisper, Quinn rolled her eyes at the childish boy.

"You must force it to take the shape you find hilarious." Lupin went on. Pulling a student from the class she had never met before, but he was in a couple of her classes - Neville. All of a sudden Snape walked out the cupboard, she got a small fright until she realised it wasn't the real Snape, but it was still a shock to see him for the first time, especially after last night. Quinn's head turned to look at Draco. Draco was already looking at Quinn, probably for the same reason.

"Riddikulus" Neillive shouted - Snape was now wearing his grandmother's clothes. Quinn thought this was hilarious and couldn't stop laughing. That would have been a funny sight if Snape saw them last night dressed like that.

They all formed a line, Ron was at the front. Snape shifted to take the form of a giant spider and Ron looked terrified before remembering the spell. All of a sudden the spider started rolling about the floor on roller skates! Everyone burst out laughing. Next was a girl Quinn didn't know, but the roller skating spider turned into a huge snake, ready to take the girls head off. "Riddikulus" it turned into a jack-in-the-box and sprung back and forth. The girl moved to the back of the line and it was now Quinn's turn. To her, she didn't think she had any fears so she was curious what the big clown would turn into.

Her face turned red as she realized what it formed into. In front of her stood the same boy she spent hiding in the cupboard last night. She was so embarrassed. Everyone in the class could see what she feared and what made things even worse, is that Draco could see that she was scared of him.

"Riddikulus" she managed to stutter out, Draco's hair grew so long it hit the floor and everyone except Draco and Quinn started laughing. With tears threatening to spill - she ran out of the class. She didn't know where she was going to go, she didn't know her way around the castle but she eventually found herself outside.
