Our First Meeting

INTRODUCTION: Have you ever fallen in love at first sight? If you have then this is the poem for you! :)

One fine day we bumped into each other on the street,

You helped me to get back on my feet.

Then you apologized over and over again,

For leaving my top with a coffee stain.

I said it was alright,

And was greeted with a breath-taking sight.

A naughty smile played on your lips,

As you fixed your gaze a little over my hips.

I was about to leave when you held my hand,

The touch made it difficult for me to stand.

I told you I was running late,

But you asked me out for a date.

Hesitantly I agreed to meet you the following night,

Thankfully my choice was right.

Together we had a lot of fun,

I felt a little said when we were done.

But not for long,

As our entwined hands helped me feel strong.

You dropped me home and before leaving we had our first kiss,

At that moment I found my bliss.

I knew you were the man of my dream(s),

And together we made a pretty good team.

We have gone out many times since then,

But that is the only date I'll give a twenty on ten.
