INTRODUCTION: I am sure most of us have had that one friend who we thought was our BFF but turned out to be a snake. Well, that's what had happened to me when I wrote this poem. No offense intended. :)

When I tell you that you're my best friend,
A weird look you send.
We have known each other for too long,
For me to know that this look is wrong.
Together memories we have made,
But now, they are starting to fade.
We have started to part ways,
We will be each other's past in a few days.
Since ages we've grown apart,
But now we finally part.
I know we are making a huge mistake,
And our friendship is at stake.
Dear friend, we might be apart,
But the pain you have caused will always have a place in my heart.
