Every nerve in my body was screaming at me 'this isn't right!' but I couldn't bring myself to stop. I was well aware we were standing in the middle of the gym, fully exposed, her hands on my cheeks my hands in her hair. Our lips connected.

"Ellie." Saskia pulled away, looking me in the eye. "Yeah?" I asked breathlessly. "We...we shouldn't do this..." She removed her hands from my face, taking a step back. "But-" I started to say, when she cut me off. "No! Ellie, we...we're both upset. I'm mad about Ani and you're mad about Lottie and Jamie...I...I know why Ellie. Even if you can't see it yourself, I can see it." She turns to walk away, but I run after her, grabbing her shoulder and turning her around.

"WHY? Why then am I mad at Lottie and Jamie?" I realise I'm shouting, but I don't care. "You like Lottie." She says calmly, before shrugging me off and walking out.

I'm left alone in the gym. Is she right? I ask myself. Do I like Lottie? I think about her for a moment, the way she blushes if we get close, the way she was so strong last year in Japan. How Jamie would get to see a side of her I never would. How...how they seemed to have an understanding of each other.

I didn't know the answer, but I knew it wasn't 'no'.
