Chapter 1: First day of Senior year

Day 1

Was I nervous for school? No not at all, I was excited because I finally got to see what the outside air was again. I walked to the train station and got on the train heading to school while my stepbrothers got a ride from their friends.

I met up with Destini In the train and we talked about our whole summer. I was scared to tell her at first but she already knew most of it. "So any luck picking out a school?" I asked and she nodded, "NYU is my final choice, what about you?" She asked and I smiled. "If you must know, I plan on going to Empier beauty school, I'm going to be the best hair stylist in the world." We laughed and both sighed as our stop got closer. We got off the train and our school was right there. Now I actually was nervous. We walked down the block to our school and made our way to the door. We swiped our I.D's and walked right in.

The school had changed a lot from last year. We even have a new principal. Who I heard was much nicer than our last one. And I also found out that her son goes here but we both don't know who it could be.

I saw one of my stepbrothers and he was taking with his cheerleading team and we kept walking . We both had first period together so it was perfect. As we walked down the hall I bumped into a male and fell to the ground. The other kids looked concerned and the male helped me up. He had a muscular body and you could tell he worked out. He was very handsome and he made me feel flustered at the way he was looking. His shirt was unbuttoned at the top and I could feel the heat between us. It was hot and he asked me "are you okay?" His deep voice sending chills down my spine. "I-I'm okay just a small fall nothing too bad." I chuckled and he smiled. "What's your name?" He asked me, and before I could say anything my stepbrother Max came over and looked at me then at the boy. "Hey hotness why don't you leave that looser alone and spend time with me?" I nearly threw up in my mouth and Destini was laughing. Jackson looked at max then chuckled. "I would rather drink bleach." He said and Max ran away to his friends.

"Do you know him?" The boy asked me. "Yes he's my stepbrother." I say with a smile knowing what really goes on at home. For some reason I feel like he knows what I'm hiding behind my fake smile. "I'm sorry to hear that." He chuckled. "I'm Jackson, Nice to meet you. I hope to see you around. Class starts in a few and I know you and your friend don't want to be late." He says and smiles before waking away.

I giggle and walk to Destini and we giggle together but then Max walks over. "Just because we aren't at home doesn't mean that you are cool now cause we are in school. You are always going to be a little suicidal looser." He said and walked away. I looked at Destini and just ran to our classroom which was on the second floor. She caught up to me and looked at me. "Don't listen to him, he's just jealous, now let's get through our first day." She said and I nodded as we walked into class.

I felt time go by as we sat in class soon it was time for our next class. I had science and Destini had chorus so we said our goodbyes and went to class. We had a few other classes together as well as lunch so I was fine with it.
I walked into my next class and saw Jackson. There was a seat next to him open and he told me to sit with him so I did. This time both my stepbrothers were in this class. Max and Marcus. As me and Jackson were talking and doing our work I felt both of them watching me and Jackson. It was quite disturbing, and I know for a fact they are going to tell my stepfather. I could careless, he's done worse to me so I wouldn't expect anything new from him.

"Are you busy after school?" He asked as we were putting our books away. My stepbrothers were gone so I responded how I wanted. "No I'm not doing anything." I said and he smiled. "Good because I want to show you the garden we just built on the roof." I nodded "sounds like a plan."

The school day went buy and eventually it was time for me to meet up with Jackson, I walked up to Destini, "Okay what do I say to him?" I asked her. "Just talk about yourself be you and don't be afraid." She said and I looked at her. "That's nearly impossible!"

She shook her head and bursted out into song and started to sing impossible from the Cinderella movie. "Impossible for a plain yellow pumpkin to become a golden carriage." She sang and I chuckled.

"Good luck!" She said and continued to sing as she walked out of the school. I chuckled and walked to the classroom where Jackson was and I waited for him. He smiled at me, "hey you ready to go?" He asked and I nodded. He smiled and lead me to the staircase. We walked up and looked around my eyes widened. "Wow, we get a new principal and a new rooftop garden?" I said and looked around and spotted my favorite flowers. "Beautiful isn't it?" He said and I nodded.

"I come up here all the time to think." He said and sat next to me. "You're pretty cool." He added. And I smiled. "You are too, here's my number." I said. We exchanged numbers and walked around for a bit before going inside. My stepbrothers were doing their after school work and I had a chance to leave without them seeing some with Jackson.

We said our goodbyes and went our separate ways. I walked home and my stepdad was there. "Hi" I said and walked to my room. "Worthless brat." He said and I quickly ran to the attic and closed my door I laid on my bed and texted Destini everything. Then Jackson called me on FaceTime.

The good thing about this was that my stepfather would never find out and I wanted it to be that way.

A/n:I hope you all enjoyed chapter 1 I promise by tonight or tomorrow guys will get chapter 2 I'm gonna be more consistent with this book and my Johnny x male reader book as well.
