Chapter 7: The new guy

A week has passed since (Y/n) and Jackson have gotten together. The whole school found out and many of them were jealous and upset because it had happened. Most were supportive.

His stepbrother Max was most of all pissed. He was mad because he thought he could get all of the boys in the school to like him when in reality they all wanted (Y/n). The thought of Jackson being with (Y/n) pissed him off and he knew he had to do something to break them up. He decided to make a phone call to an old friend and left the classroom to do so.

(Y/n) paid no attention to it and just sat in his math class looking at the board as his teacher gave out instructions to the class. They had to solve a complicated equation and only (Y/n) knew the answer. " b equals 12." He said and the teacher nodded. "Good job!"

She continued her lesson and handed out worksheets to the class. She was counting it as a quiz and (Y/n) finished first. He sat there o. His phone scrolling through instagram before looking over at Destini and seeing that she was done with her quiz.

Soon the bell rang and the two walked out of class together. "So how do you think you did?" She asked. "I know I passed it, I'm not as smart as you but I definitely got a score above 80%" she chuckled.

"I think I passed, most likely above an 80% as well. I'm glad you think I'm smart. Maybe in books but socially no. Back then I couldn't tell when someone was flirting with me. I called it an aggressive compliment." He giggled and continued to Walk towards the cafeteria with Destini.

"Did you hear about our new student? I think he's in our Theater class." She asked as the sat down at a table.

"No but we'll find out after lunch." He replied.

"Where is Jackson?" She asked and took out the salad she made.

"He's on a school trip with Lyric. Their physics teacher took them to the science museum" he said and took a bite of his sandwich.

The two of them sat there and continued to eat lunch while talking about minor things. (Y/n) was thinking about this new student as they spoke. 'I wonder who they are and if I know them. It would be nice to make a new friend that wouldn't try to fuck me' he thought.

Most boys in the school wanted to sleep with the male because of his female-like body. Girls envied him, even his own stepbrother who was watching from afar. He smirked to himself knowing what he was planning to do and his friend would help him do it.

Lunch ended and the two walked to their theater class. The room looked like a Mini auditorium. They were currently practicing for the school play which was Cinderella. (Y/n) scored the role as Cinderella and Destini was the fairy godmother. They were still looking for a Prince Charming and only the kids in theater could be in it. For other plays anyone could join but this one was different. No one fit the role of the prince so it was a struggle.

Max was playing a tree and he was beyond pissed. He sat down in the back as they waited for the teacher to come back with the new student. He smirked and chuckled to himself when he realized how good his plan was.

The teacher came back and smiled. "Students please welcome our new student, Oh Sehun." (Y/n)'s eyes went wide. He quickly realized who was standing there. His ex-boyfriend sehun who broke up with him due to moving schools which was in California. "He's back?" Destini said quietly and looked at (Y/n). "Isn't theater class the main reason as to why you started dating?" She said and (Y/n) just nodded as he thought about how they met.

Flashback

November 15 2016 sophomore year

"Hey is anyone sitting here?" Sehun asked.

"No it's just me." (Y/n) said

The teacher went on with his lesson. He was talking about Shakespeare and was sayin how we would have to do a play on Romeo and Juliet.

No one in the school singed up for the plays ever. So roles were open often. And (Y/n) always got the lead so students never bothered with trying and he played the roles that were traditionally played by females, but his teacher hated tradition and loved the new age of things.

They were discussing who would play the role of Romeo and Sehun auditioned for the role.
After months of practicing the lines and spending time with each other the two began to fall in love.

They started dating before the night of the play and shared their first ever kiss during that night. (Y/n) also lost his virginity during the summer of that year.

They had everything planned out and were ready to be together forever until Sehun's parents got a divorce and his mother wanted to move to California. Being that his father had left his mom took him there and it caused Sehun and (Y/n) to end things. It was hard on both of them.

(Y/n) moved on but Sehun hasn't.

Flashback ends

All the memories of their relationship had flooded the males mind and he blanked out unable to hear his teacher call him until Destini hit his head. "Go on stage and practice your lines." She said and he nodded as he walked up to the stage. Becoming nervous, "hey Sehun..." he said and looked at the male as he got out his script. "Hey, can we talk after?" Sehun asked and (Y/n) just nodded.

The two went over their lines and when it got to the kissing scene Max took a picture of Sehun leaning in to kiss (Y/n) and smirked. He sent the picture out from his Twitter. 'My work here is done.

Before they could kiss the bell rang and everyone walked out. The only people left were Sehun and (Y/n) and it went silent until Sehun spoke up.

"I still love you."
