Chapter 6: Light

Jackson's P.O.V

We kissed, I didn't expect him to tell me how b
He felt. I was shocked to be honest. It's not something I planned. But I'm glad it did happen.

I watched over him as he slept. The boy I could now call mine. I didn't have to worry about guys trying to date him or asking him out. I filled the position of being his boyfriend and I'm glad I did. No one could possibly ruin our relationship.

I woke up the next morning holding him in my arms. I felt happy, it was meant to be. How often does anyone end up dating the person they truly love. It felt good. I'm not one to normally describe how I'm feeling but it felt good to do it.

I looked over at (Y/n) and smiled seeing him open his eyes. "Good morning beautiful." I said and he smiled back at me. Lord only knows how his beautiful smile makes me feel.

"Good morning." He said and looked at me with those beautiful (E/c) eyes.

"What's the plan for today?" I asked him since I didn't have any idea on what we were going to do today. "I dunno, maybe we can go to the pier today and just enjoy the nice weather. It's starting to get warmer outside so why not." He said and I nodded. "Well let me go wake up the other two lovebirds and see how their night went." I said and kissed his soft lips before putting on my shirt.

I opened the door to his room and I walked down the attic stairs and then opened the other door to only see Destini laying back on the pillow and I noticed a head underneath the blanket. I chuckled softly and rolled my eyes already knowing what they were doing so I quietly made my way upstairs and back into (Y/n)'s room. He had a towel covering his body and was about to walk into the bathroom. "I'll be out quick, so just wait out here for me." He said and I nodded grabbing my bag and taking out my towel and my outfit for the day.

I was scrolling through my phone when I heard a beautiful sound come from the bathroom. I put my ear to the door and I heard (Y/n) sing. He was singing Halo by Beyoncé and I smiled. His voice sounded beautiful.

After listening to him sing for a few minutes I heard the shower turn off and I quickly sat where I was before and went on my phone.

He came out of the bathroom with a cute outfit on. He wore shorts and a crop top showing his adorable belly piercing. "You look amazing." I said making him blush and he smiled. "Thank you." He said. "I'm gonna go downstairs and clean up the house while you shower. There is a shower downstairs so Destini and Lyric can use it. And I think they already are." His last comment made me chuckle. I just nodded and walked to the bathroom closing the door behind me.

I got in the shower and sighed feeling the warm water hit my back. Enjoying the feeling of the water I cab feel my nerves shake off of my body.

Author POV

The rest of the day went on as planned, Jackson, Lyric, (Y/N), And Destini we're all in the park walking around and taking pictures together. A text message came on (Y/n)'s phone and he opened it. It was his stepfather telling him that he was on his way home.

The male got nervous and looked at Destini, "my stepfather is on his way home and he's gonna flip if he finds out I had you guys come to the house."

Destini nodded and Jackson looked at him. "Okay so let's all head back to your house and clean before he comes back." He said and received a nod as a response from his boyfriend.

They all quickly rushed back to the males house to clean. Once they arrived at his house they began cleaning up all of the ashes that were left on the couch from them smoking and getting rid of the evidence.

(Y/n) was doing the dishes, Destini was cleaning the living room, Jackson was cleaning the bathroom and Lyric was mopping the floor.

They managed to clean everything within ab hour. They heard keys jingling at the door and panicked. Destini told lyric and Jackson to leave out the back door and (Y/n) went to the couch taking out a textbook and waving 'goodbye' to lyric and Jackson and he sat there with Destini pretending to study.

His stepfather entered and took a look around. "The house is clean. Good." He said and noticed Destini 'studying' with (Y/n) and changed his attitude. "Hello Destini, it's good to see you and it's great to see the two of you studying."

"Hello Mr. Lee. It's nice seeing you too." She paused. "We're working on a class project."

(Y/n) nodded. "Yeah, at least I can say that we'll have a 100 on this. Unlike other people, school is my main focus." He said and looked at his step brothers.

"Ah well, that's good. I'll be in my room if you need anything." He said and walked off. His step brothers followed and went to their rooms.

"I can see through his bull shit." Destini said and rolled her eyes. "I'm surprised your step brothers didn't say anything."

"When their father is around they stay quiet or paint me as the bad guy." (Y/n) sighed.

He didn't expect his stepfather to return so soon. But he was glad that they came up with that last minute plan. For the rest of the evening Destini and (Y/n) stayed in his room.

Since all the rooms in the house were soundproof they could talk abound anything and no one would hear them.

They smoked and chilled in the room until it was time for Destini to head home. They said their goodbyes and he walked Destini out. Luckily everyone was asleep so (Y/n) could have a peaceful night.

He laid in his bed, the scent of Jackson's cologne was still on his pillow and he smiled. Being around Jackson made (Y/n) feel free. He could actually say he was happy. And for the first time in a while he was glad he felt happy. Nothing could take this away.

Right now it's 2:23 am est and I have work at 3:00pm est. but I will keep writing for you guys because I can't keep you guys waiting months/weeks for an update
