Gothal was walking through the woods, unaware that the three teens had escaped the Tower with two total strangers.  It was then when a white horse jumped out at her.  She yelped in surprise, but noticed the riding gear.  It was a palace horse.

"A palace horse…  where's your rider?"  her breath hitched as a thought slammed into her brain.  "Rapunzel!"  spun around and dashed towards the tower.  It took a long time to reach its base, but she called up for the blonde girl to let down her hair.

No answer.  Raced around the bottom of the tower and began to pull out the stones that hid the door to the hidden stairs.  Once she reached the top, she slammed the panel off and scrambled into the main room.  "Rapunzel?  Cassandra?  Varian?"  she practically turned the place upside down looking for her flower.  It came to now avail.

She grabbed her head in despair.  A gleam of light from underneath the stairs caught her eye.  She ran over to the step and tore up.  She found a satchel and she opened it in a flash.  Inside was the crown and a poster of the wanted thief, Flynn Rider.

"Ah, there it is, the Snuggly Duckling,"  Lance announced.

"It's a little rough looking, but perfect for you."  Flynn tapped Varian's shoulder.  "Wouldn't want you scaring and getting freaked out or anything."

"Well, I do like ducklings,"  Varian grinned nervously.  He had read a lot about baby ducks and loved the picture of one in one of his books since he was little.

"Yay!"  Flynn took him by the hand and led them to the entrance.  "You guys home?  Your finest table, please!"

Varian yelped in surprise at the sight of the thugs.  His eyes lingered on a man with a hook for a hand.  "You smell that?  Take a deep breath through the nose."  Rider was leading Varian through the crowd with the others following behind them.

"These aren't ducklings…"  Varian whispered.

"Uh, no.  You're supposed to eat the ducks,"  Lance explained.

Varian's eyes widened in horror, but Flynn came to a stop.  "That's a lot of hair…"  one of the thugs commented on Rapunzel's hair.

"She's growing it out.  Is that blood in your mustache?  Guys look at this!  Look at all the blood in his mustache!  Yes, sir that's a lot of blood!"  Rider pointed to the man's facial hair.

Between the knowledge of eating baby ducks and the blood on the man's face, Varian's stomach heaved.  He threw up in a dirty pot that just so happened to be next to them.  "Uh…" Rider frowned.  That wasn't supposed to happen.  "Are you alright?"  he found himself in actual concern for Varian.

"Mmm…"  a slight groan escaped the boy's lips, but he nodded.

"You're not looking too good.  Maybe we should take you back to your tower."  Although Flynn wanted more than anything to get back the satchel, this sentence was legitimate and full of true concern.  He supposed dragon lady, Cassandra, noticed the difference because she wasn't strangling him.

He gently began to lead Varian out of the place, but the door was slammed shut in their face.  "Is this you?"  a thug pointed to a poster with the nose being covered.

Rider moved the finger, revealing the ridiculously long nose.  "Ah, now they're just being mean."

"Oh, it's him alright!  You, go get the guards!"  Hook hand thug walked up towards them.  Rider put Varian behind him to protect him.  Flynn felt the front of his shirt being grabbed.  The metal hook was cold against his neck.  "That reward's gonna buy me a new hook."
