“Keith!”

He was eating when he was called.

“Yes dad?” he asked.

“Come with me.” he walks away.

Nate looks at Keith. Keith just shrugs. He then takes a piece of cake and goes behind his dad.

Ashley who was sitting with Nate takes her second piece of cake.

“What happened Nate?”

“I don't know. We'll see...By the way, where's Andrew?”

At the mention of his name, her heart started beating fast.

“I don't know.” she manages to say, without stuttering.

They then continue eating the cake.

Keith silently follows his dad to his study.

*Is this about last night? I don't think so. We weren't noticed at all.*

After he caught Bea blushing, she walked out, obviously embarrassed. He had laughed quietly. Then they walked around the palace and then Bea became tired and started to yawn. So they went back to Havana's home and he made sure she climbed the vines carefully and then she bid him goodnight. He then came back and fell asleep, Bea invading his dreams.

*What are you doing to me Bea?*

“Keith?”

He looks up to see his father looking at him, amused.

“Yes father?”

“We're here. Come in.”

They walk into the study. Keith went and stood in front of his father, waiting for what he has to say.

“Okay. So.....Keith how are things between you and Ashley?”

“Everything is okay. Fine, actually.” he states.

“That's good! I hope you're prepared.”

“Prepared? For what?”

“For the ball.”

“Ball?! What ball?”

“The ball in which you have to announce the girl you're going to marry! Keith! Don't tell me you forgot!”

“But father! I'm not ready!”

“Keith! I'm sorry! I really am. I didn't know about your powers. But….all the people are excited for this ball. Everyone are waiting for their new princess. We can't let them down.”

Keith sighed.“I'm not sure about Ashley father. She's like my sister! I don't want to marry her!”

His father patted his shoulder.

“I know you'll find a way around this. You know full well that you cannot reject her unless she says so.”

“I know father.......I'll leave now.”

“Okay son.”

Keith leaves the place and runs, not caring who saw him. Not stopping. He halts as soon as he reaches out. He let's out a breath he didn't know he was holding.

He then slowly walks to the garden. He goes further than the bridge and then stops in front of a huge oak tree. To any person it would look like a dead end behind the tree. But not to Keith. He walks behind the tree and  walks through the vines. He then pushes open a secret door.

He lets out a deep breath. He smiles as he takes in the view before him.

There was a small pond in the middle. A swing hung from a tree at the right. There were different coloured flowers at the left. It was a small garden. But Keith felt happy every time he came here. He had made it himself. That's why he took pride in it.

But not today. He closes the door behind him and slowly walks to the pond. He sits in font of it. He touches the water. Cold. Like how he feels now.

*Why does this happen to me?*

He couldn't think of anything. He couldn't think straight. He got up and went to the swing. He sat on it and rocked himself.

*You bring out the best in me. You got the best of me.*

*Don't leave me.*

He stared at the flowers. It was so calm. It calmed him a little.

*What do I do? I need her!*

It started to rain. He didn't care. He just sat there swinging slowly. The rain slowly drenches him. Then it rains heavily, making him completely wet.

“Keith! Get in! You will catch a cold!” he heard Bea's voice.

He suddenly got up and walked to the door.

“Bea?” he opens the door and looks around.

No one.

*It has to be my imagination.*  he sighs.

*She's in my mind too!*

He walks back to the swing and sits down, rocking the swing.

He looks at his palm. He closes his eyes and concentrates. Then he opens his eyes and stretches out his hand. A rainbow beam shoots from his hand burning a patch of grass.

*I have to tend to that tomorrow.*  he sighs.

*I'm sighing a lot now.*

He looks up, despite the rain hitting his face.

“I need you Bea. I love you.”

It was raining heavily. Bea was sitting in her room, reading a novel.

“Bea! Come down! I've made soup!”

Bea closes the book and runs down the stairs to the kitchen.

“Here. Hot vegetable soup to enjoy during the rain.” Havana smiles at her.

Suddenly, a wave of sadness hits her.

“Thank you Havana. I'll take it to my room.” Bea then goes back to her room.

*What's wrong with her? She never has soup in her room. She always has it with us.*  Havana walks back to the kitchen.

*What's wrong with me? Why am I sad. I never drink soup in my room!* she sighs and sits at her windowsill, looking at the rain.

She starts to feel cold, like she was drenched in the rain.

*What is this?*

*You bring out the best in me. You got the best of me.*

*Don't leave me.*

*Why am I hearing things?!*

She felt more sad.

*I need you Bea. I love you.*

“Keith?”
