It was the last day of vacation and Corey and I were on a romantic walk with Theo. We were driving home tonight so we'd have time to recover on Monday before the start of a busy week. We held hands as we walked around the neighbourhood, exploring a little. Corey would tell me all these memories from his childhood, but the ones I loved the most were his memories of junior and high school with Ben. We headed to the dog park to let Theo off his leash so he could run about a bit more. Corey and I sat on a bench, his arm around me as I leant against him, my head on his shoulder. "I love you." He whispered softly.

"I love you too Cowboy. This has been an amazing week, and I've loved spending time with your family. It's been magical."

"I'm glad. I've had a great time too." I smiled and soon Theo ran over to us. We started the walk home and came across this cute area. I looked at it for a while. "Katie. Go pose and I'll take some photos of you. This looks amazing as a background, especially with what you're wearing."

"Sure." I went and sat on the wooden steps and smiled as Corey took loads of photos.

"Just a few more." I laughed and that's when he got his best shots of me. "Done." He said looking though his phone, admiring his photos.

"These look gorgeous Cor." I said looking at the photos, my arms around him. "Thanks for taking them. Can you send the best ones to me and I'll put one on Instagram?"

"Of course love." He kissed my cheek. "I'll do it once back. We don't have long before we need to leave." I nodded and we walk back to his parents. We went up to Corey's old room and pack our things. He then sent me the photos and I posted my favourite to Instagram.

*I loved spending the last week with my boyfriend and his family without having to think of the show every two minutes. But I'm excited to get back to my newsies brothers on Tuesday. Corey took this photo of me on our walk today. I love it so much, he's a great photographer, and I'm forever grateful to have him in my life.*

We had one last lunch with his siblings and parents and we soon had to say goodbye to his family. "Thank you so much for having me Rick and Lori."

"It's been a pleasure. You're family now Katie and we love having you. Seeing Corey so happy with you makes us happy. I'm sure you know that he's dated girls in the past but he's never been this happy with them. You truly are a blessing and we're lucky to have you as part of the family." I smiled.

"I feel the same. I wouldn't know what I'd do without Corey. He's my world and my everything. I'm the luckiest girl in the world to have him beside me. And I'm lucky I get to spend every day with him at work. He's the best at what he does and I love him so much. He really is my cowboy."

"And she's my angel." He said wrapping his arms around me from behind. I giggled and smiled.

"It was lovely to finally get to spend time with you Katie, it's nice to finally have someone I can call a sister."

"I was lovely getting to be with you too Carly. And if you ever need someone to talk to you can call me." We said our final goodbyes and we got in the car ready for a long journey home. Theo had learnt his lesson and behaved the whole journey, staying in my lap. We had a few stops for breaks and even a dinner stop, during all of which we were able to let Theo out, to stretch his legs, he was on his leash of course. Theo also enjoyed the breaks because it meant he was able to cuddle with Corey for a bit. Theo definitely preferred Corey to me but that's the way I wanted it to be. He was a gift for him after all. I loved watching my two boys play together and cuddle with one another. We began the last stretch of then journey home and Theo fell asleep in my lap and I ended up falling asleep too.

"Katie." I heard softly as I felt a hand on my shoulder. "We're home love." I opened my eyes and smiled. I leaned over and kissed Corey softly. "Let's get you inside babe. We can then actually cuddle and kiss each other rather than in the car." He took Theo and one of the bags while I grabbed the other. We headed up to our apartment and head in. Theo was still sleeping so Corey put him in his dog bed and then came over to the couch where I was. We both laid down in one another's arms and cuddled and kissed for a while. "It's good to be home." Corey smiled.

"Yeah. Ready for another busy week of shows." I added. "I still can't believe this is our life. I'd prepared myself for needing to be a waitress somewhere. I never in a million years expected to get an acting job the moment I graduated. Especially not one this amazing."

"Me neither. But we did. And we're lucky that we did."

"Yeah." I said softly. I snuggled up to him and smiled. Corey sang me a soft song and I fell asleep to the sound of his soothing voice.
