(Superman, Martian Manhunter, Cyborg, and Green Lantern appear)

Liu Kang: The warrior Sub Zero warned us about

Kung Lao: He calls himself "Superman"

Echo: Pretty generic name for a superhero

Shang Tsung: Let us finish what Sub Zero could not. FIGHT!

(Shang Tsung fights Superman and wins with a fire skull)

(Echo knocks down Cyborg with a flip kick)

(Kung Lao knocks Green Lantern down with a palm strike)

(Liu Kang knocks Martian Manhunter down with a fireball)

Shang Tsung: At least they put up more of a challenge than your "masters"

(Shang Tsung fights Liu Kang and wins with a teleport punch)

Liu Kang: How? How can this be? You are more powerful than before

Shang Tsung: I was weakened when we last fought. But now energies are in constant flux as a result of the merger. Now I am re vitalized and surging with power. I could finish you right now-

(Echo draws his sword and points the blade at Shang Tsung's neck)

(Green Lantern's eyes glow yellow)

(Green Lantern uppercuts Liu Kang, sending him flying)

(Kung Lao throws his hat at Green Lantern)

(Green Lantern uses his ring to throw the hat back)

(Echo and Cyborg start fighting again in the background)

(Shang Tsung fights Green Lantern and wins with a fireball)

(Echo flips Cyborg over his shoulder and punches him in the face)

(Kung Lao gets his hat out of the wall)

Liu Kang: You defeated him. You defended me

Shang Tsung: Save your pathetic graciousness. Were it not for Dark Khan, I would kill you now

(Kano's human eye glows yellow)

Sonya: As much as I would love to see you two kill each other, there are bigger issues to deal with

(Raiden teleports away, and teleports back with Jax)

Jax: We were at the base. A guy in an exo suit dropped me. And they uses our techno portal. I think they're headed to out world

Smoke: Great...

Raiden: Then that is where we must go. We all know what is at stake. If we fail, then none of us will survive

Echo: Then lets not fail

Kitana: And we shall go to out world
