Dr. Benzedrine:

Placing my head on to the table. I let out an exaggerated sigh. "First dates can be stressful, but this is too much," Donnie said. Sandy nodded. "Maybe you should just be friends with Lady," H suggested. "So just tell her what? I changed my mind? I'm taking back everything that happened," I muttered, " I made the first move. I said one date to give me a chance. I don't want to let her down. If I take it back then I'm just as bad as all the guys who gave her a reason to put that wall up." Sandy wondered around his dining room table. He was being strangely quiet. Rubbing his chin and keeping his thoughts to himself. "At lest you have a counterpart. You use to say you didn't. So something positive came out of this," Donnie informed me. H patted my back. "He's right," he agreed. Sandy shook his head. "It's just a date. Screw everything else. All you have to do is what you and Lady would normally do, but make it a tad special," Sandy spoke up. I lifted my head. "What are you getting at?" I asked. "Just hang out with her like normal. Just flirt a little more and make it special. You said once, you danced with her. Dance with her again, but under the stars," he explained. I pondered. "What about that camping trip you guys went on," Horace pointed out. Donnie gave me a know it all smirk. Sandy's smile widened. "That was a good trip. Right Benzi," he winked. "Why? Why would you do that?" I asked frantically. H nudged me with an impressionable smirk. Donnie switch his attention to Mr. Sandman.

"I'm lost. I thought that trip was you and Star's first time. What does Benzi and Lady have to do with any of it?" Donnie questioned.

Sandy leaned on the table. "Naw, we just fooled around a little. Sugar was uncomfortable in the tent. But Dr. Benzedrine got to cuddle," he said happily, "And because of Miss Sandman's outburst about how hot Dr. Benzedrine is. They were able to flirt." "Lies!" I jumped up. "No lies. You told me what happened. Asking her if she wanted to test the theory of how comforting your chest was totally flirting dude. Star said they look like pillows and Lady agreed. On top of how nice your arms are and how safe she feels," Sandy argued. My face turned scarlet. H chuckled to himself and did a slow clap. "She wants you. Risqué or not. Lady Benzedrine likes you. This date can suck, she might just ignore it because she wants to be with you," he said to me. "I agree, you're stressing out for nothing," Don said. I sat back down. "What if it goes bad and at first we stay friends, but over time it just brakes us," I stress. "I don't know what to tell you. You're gonna have to take that jump," Donnie shrugged. The rest agreed. I pondered Sandy's words. Under the stars. We've often get lost on the walk home looking at the stars. We never got to use my telescope on the camping trip. "I think I have an idea," I smiled.

"Hold it still," I told H, "don't shake the tube." "Um...Benzi, you have to pick Lady up in an hour. Why are we playing around with your chemistry set?" Horace asked. I took a small dropper and pulled up one fluid ounce of Chlorine. Dripping into a petri dish with the green ooze from the mote. It bubbled slightly over a low heat. "What will Lady say if she knew why you were late?" H interrupted again. "Why didn't you call me sooner then she would have ran over. She's cute like that," I beamed as I watch the chemicals react. "She wouldn't be mad? At least a little," he wondered. "I don't think so. Maybe I should have just done this with her and held her hand," I laughed. Adding a little bit of liquid nitrogen. H set the test tube in the holder. "And she'll like that?" His jaw dropped. I nodded. "Adorkable," he laughed. H peered over my shoulder as I finished my project. "Okay, I'm gonna turn the carousel off, if that's okay," I said as I packed my invention.

"Well yeah, but why?"

"Because the lights pollute the night sky."

"I'm super lost, where are you taking her?"

"On the roof of the carousel. I'm going to use this to jump up there and we are going to chart stars," I explained. I felt proud of my idea. It was simple, but romantic. We've watched the stars once in a tea cup. I wanted to watch the night sky shimmer with her again, but never got to. Even on the camping trip. Horace gave me a friendly smile. Agreeing to turn the carousel off for me. I set the Petri dish of green jumping slime on the table and went to my room to get ready.
