Lady Benzedrine:

I pulled out my winter wear. A lemon yellow sweater with a butterscotch yellow circle skirt. Banana yellow leggings and black boots. I tied my hair into a bun. Grabbed my white fur shawl, mittens and, ear muffs. Picked up my toolbox and rushed out the door. On my way to the trolley station, I stopped by the carousel. Jumping aboard. I rode until I found a picture of a poorly lit yellow laboratory. Leaping through the other side. Dr. Benzedrine stood at the counter of his kitchenette. Brewing tea. In his pjs. Quickly, my face turned red as a strawberry. My eyes gawked at him. A semi tight fitted tangerine tee and marigold lounge pants that hugged him nicely. The idea of him cuddling me only to falling asleep in his arms; blossomed in my mind. It set me on fire. His strawberry blond hair looked soft and messy. My heart skipped. He face me with a smirk. As he put the mug up to his small cherry lips. Benzi took a sip of tea before asking me what's wrong. My mind went blank.

"Lady, are you okay?"

The sleepy sound of his voice made me dizzy. "Sorry Doctor, I'm just a little warm. I'm heading out to Tinseltown to help fix a zamboni. I was wondering would you like to join me," I grinned. He set his mug on the counter. "Sure, I haven't been there in a while. It would be snow much fun go with you," Benzi chuckled. I gave him an awkward smile. "Not your best," I told him honestly. "I just woke up, cut me some slack," he said, running his hand through his hair. "Oh, yeah haha same here," I laughed, " I totally just woke up and stuff." Truthfully, I couldn't sleep. It was no problem for me to block out my heart. I had years of practice, but my brain. It would stop thinking about him. For three years, my brain has found away to repeat whatever my heart has been saying. I stayed up last night thinking about him. "Maybe after work you should take a nap. Are you sure you slept last night," Benzi walked up to me. He cupped my face. I melted at his touch. "Lady, are you okay? You can tell me," he asked in a gentle whisper. "Uh? Oh yea. I'm fine," I beam. Benzi pulls away. "I'll be right back," he says then walks towards his bedroom.

On the trolley ride to Tinseltown. I sat close to him. Benzi's arm stretched across the back. I glanced over at him. He sat peacefully, gazing out the window. He wore a black turtle neck shirt with a honey yellow sweater. His usual sunshine yellow pants and boots. On his lap, laid his butterscotch scarf and mittens. He wore a matching beanie. As soon as the cartoonish kelly green grass faded in to sparkling white snow. Dr. Benzedrine turn to me. "After your job, maybe we can play in the snow?" He asked. "We can ice skate," I replied. "Oof, I'm more likely to fall," Benzi giggled. "I ...I can hold your hand," I blushed. Benzi's face match mine. "Okay," his voice squeaked. The trolley stopped at a station in front of Snowbunny Lodge.

I walked closely to him. Side by side. Arms linked like always. Entering the lobby. We were greeted by the owner's daughter. Sabrina Snowbunny. A tall curvy female suiteheart. Her hair was a golden blonde with gentle curls. Thin face, hazel eyes, and a button nose. She wore a icy blue sweater dress rimmed with black fur. White tights and black knee high boots. She looked at Benzi with an interesting gaze. "Hello," she smiled, twirling a strand of her hair. "Hi, Sabrina," I curtsied, "Are your parents here?" "Nope. They left me in charge this weekend. We've been having trouble with our new zamboni," Sabrina beamed. I nodded.

Dr. Benzedrine:

Lady's grip on my arm tightened as Sabrina come up to me. "So, are you going to introduce me to this cutie?" She winked at me. Pink colored my cheeks. "Oh...um...this is my counterpart Dr. Benzedrine," Lady replied nervously. I was lost in Lady's words. Why didn't she say friend? Introducing us as counterparts makes us look like a couple. I held my breath; when Sabrina asked, "Is he your boyfriend? I didn't think you would date again after Victor." "Well...um... we ah ... just friends," Lady mumbled. Sabrina's eyes sparkled. "A gentleman," she flirted. "I try to be," I blushed. "I'm Sabrina Snowbunny, have you ever been to the lodge before?" She asked, batting her eyelashes at me. "A long time ago. It's definitely changed," I said. "If you'd like, I can show you around," Sabrina smirked. "Um, sure. Unless Lady Benzedrine needs my help," I turned to Lady. She looked up at me with big pouty eyes. "It's okay. I got this," she moped. Letting go of my arm. Sabrina immediately took my hand. "I know all the coolest spots," Sabrina beamed. Dragging me behind her. I glanced back at Lady. She held on to her tool box with both hands and gazed at the floor heartbroken.
