Dr. Benzedrine:
After mouths working in my lab with Lady. She invited me over to help put together the rocket boots for her armor. My stomach flipped every time I thought about seeing her. At frist I thought I had a common cold. However, it only happened whenever I saw her or thought of her. Donnie and Sandy were vocal about my feelings towards her. I adjusted my jacket. Lifting my hat up to fix my hair. I was about to knock on the door when it pushed open. A female suiteheart stepped out. An inch taller than me. She has tan caramel colored skin with brown hair tied back into a ponytail with light brown highlights. A sunflower was clipped in her hair. She wore a forest green long sleeve leotard and lime green tights. A black skirt wrapped around her waist. Black ballet slippers with ivy green ribbons wrapped around her legs.
"Oops, Sorry. I didn't see you there," She smiled widely. I nodded. "You must be Dr. Benzedrine, Lady's special friend," she simpered. I could feel her milky brown eyes check me out. "I'm Danielle, but you can call me Dani," she introduce herself. "It's nice to meet you," I said, holding out my hand, " um...haha you can call me Benzi." Dani held out her fist. Instead, I gave her a first bump. "I'm guessing you're here for Little Miss can't be wrong," Dani sassed. "We are working on a new invention today," I beamed. "I'm on my way to chill with Dallon and Mr. Disco at Big Top," she informed me. Dani moves to the side. "Go head in, Lady's room is the yellow door," she waved. Then back flipped off the ride.
Entering the teapot. I walked down the spiraling staircase carefully. At the bottom was a circular foyer, twelve doors lined up along the walls. Four of the doors were different colors. One red, one green, one blue, and one yellow. The rest were brown with an object hanging off the door. One door, with a bookmark hanging on the front, was left open. Passing by, I went for the yellow door. Giggling came from the open door. It sounded like Lady Benzedrine. My stomach flipped again. Turning on my heel, I followed the sound. The dark hard wooden floors change to forest green carpet as I entered the library. Tall mahogany bookcases lined with countless number of books, forming a maze. Unlike the garden where I didn't know my way. There were little golden arrows on the maroon painted walls pointing the way. As I weaved in and out, the laughter grew louder. I could hear Miss Sandman talking.
"Hey Lady Benzi, check this out...oops... haha."
I rounded the corner. In the center was a circlet pit with plush blue couches and mahogany end tables. Sliver reading lights on each table. Stacks over stacks of books were scattered. Miss Sandman's legs dangled over the back of the couch as she laid up side down. Lady Benzedrine carefully walked in a circle with three hard cover books sat on her head. "Hey you're pretty good at that. How did you do it?" Star asked. "Training. My name is Lady for a reason. A true lady can balance a book on her head. Glad the training stopped. Most of the things they said was rubbish," she explained to Miss Sandman. Lady Benzedrine glanced my way. "Oh Jupiter! Dr. Benzedrine," she gasped. I waved. Losing her concentration. The books started to fall. Lady stumbled trying to catch them and managing only to grab one. Star sat up. "Hey Benzi, come join in," she flipped off the couch. Leaping to her feet and skipped over to me. Taking my hand and pulling it along. She had me sit on one of the plush couches. Miss Sandman cashed in the spot next to me. "Lady was telling me about her life before she was ten," Star whispered. "What happened at ten?" I asked. Lady Benzedrine hugged the book in her arms. "Nothing...it's not important," Lady mumbled. "Yes it is. She was born in the rich corner of Hollywood Hills. When suitehearts start showing inklings of their powers, it's at ten. Lady didn't show any when they tested her," Star told me Lady's story, "her parents just dropped her in Storybook Land." My jaw unhinged. I glanced at Lady Benzedrine. "It doesn't matter. I still did better without them," Lady hid her face. "Lady that's horrible. That's why they left you you," I grimaced. "I just ran away from mine. They were kind of neglectful," Miss Sandman said coolly. She kicked her feet as she stared at her combat boots. I placed a gentle hand on Star's shoulder. "I'm sorry to hear that," I told her sorrowfully. "It's in the past. Things are much better now," Lady said hopeful. Miss Sandman nodded in agreement. "Doctor, should we go to my work bench now?" Lady asked me. "Ooo, going to study biology in Lady's bedroom," Star laughed. "What?!" My voice cracked. My face immediately turned candy apple red. So did Lady Benzedrine's. "That's not funny, Miss Sandman," she said firmly. Lady hugged the book tighter and stomped her right foot. She turned herself away from me. Shielding her embarrassment. I fiddled with my bow tie. "Aww, you're no fun," Star pouted, "At least look at the book you're holding." Lady held out the book. "Basic biology," she read. I noticed her peek over her shoulder at me. Giggling. Lady Benzedrine bent over and placed the book on top of a nearby stack. I jumped to my feet when Lady faced me again. "Hey do you think Sandy can help me sort these books?" Star wondered. "As long as it gets done," Lady shrugged.
