y/n: what, you scared of someone's momma?
bakugo: of course not! im not afraid of anything!
y/n: you don't have to come with me if you don't want to I was just asking-
bakugo: i'll go! fine!
y/n: really! okay! todoroki usually comes with me but, you know
bakugo: let me change real quick
y/n: hurry up
bakugo: don't rush me!

you laughed and he stomped away to his dorm. you turned back around to your phone and finished your waffles. he came back out changed and ready to go so you grabbed your plate, washed it and headed out. The whole way there you two were just talking and laughing till you finally got to the destination

bakugo: hey why are we...

you sat down and placed some flowers down on her grave while cleaning it.

y/n: hey mom, happy birthday! sorry todoroki couldn't make it today but i'm sure he remembered.. and this is my friend he tagged along
bakugo: ...

bakugo looked at you with soft eyes for a second and then sat down next to you

bakugo: hey mrs. (L/N) happy birthday, it's nice to meet you, im Katsuki Bakugo a friend of your daughter
y/n: I brought you your favorite roses! like I promised I would each year, so you can't hold anything over my head

you said laughing

y/n: ...actually ma, the reason todoroki didn't come is because... he's being a butt! we got into an argument and yeah, I know you don't like us fighting but he started it!
bakugo: yea, he did! I saw it with my own two eyes!

you looked over at bakugo and you chuckled, he did too.

y/n: mom can you believe he beat me during basketball..me! he beat me!
bakugo: your daughter is horrible at basketball
y/n: don't listen to him, he doesn't know what he's talking about
bakugo: she's also horrible at math
y/n: I- well yeah.. but you already knew that mom

you both laughed and stayed for a while till it was about time you headed back to the school.

y/n: I think it's time to go, it was nice talking to you ma i love you.. I miss you..

bakugo put his hand on your shoulder

bakugo: it was nice meeting you mrs. (L/N)
y/n: bye mommy! i'll come back another time, behave yourself

bakugo helped you up from the grass and you two walked back.

bakugo: so how long since she passed.. im sorry! that was rude of me to ask you don't have to answer if you feel uncomfortable
y/n: no it's okay! it's been 12 years I believe
bakugo: when you were four? that must've been tough im sorry
y/n: yeah kind of, I didn't really understand what was happening back then. it all hit me when I was a little older though, but I had todoroki and his siblings there for me so they made it a little better
bakugo: was your mom and icy hots parents close?
y/n: yeah endeavor and my mother were childhood friends so mine and todorokis friendship was bound to happen, it took him a while to fully open up to me though due to... certain things
bakugo: that makes sense, what about your dad?
y/n: after my mom passed away he fell into a depressive episode and I had to live with my aunt for a while, then he got diagnosed with alzheimer's and it was a danger to leave him alone in the house so we put him in a senior care home
bakugo: have you visited him?
y/n: I visit him on his birthday, christmas, and thanksgiving.. though I think it'll be a little harder this time around
bakugo: im sure it'll be fine
y/n: yeah I hope so
