Amara's POV

It's been a couple days from my birthday and we're now preparing for Christmas and New Years. "Babe why do we have to go all out for Christmas" right now I was sitting down watching Neymar put up this big tree he just bought "because this is my favorite holiday and Davi's coming over so we can spend it like a family". Not wanting to mess with his happiness I decided to join in on his Christmas spirit "So what should I get you and Davi for Christmas" he gave me a list of some things I can get Davi. "Ok so those are suggestions for Davi know what about you" as he gave me no hint for his gifts.

"I already have enough gifts with just you and Davi" giving him a kiss after that cheesy line I knew I was still going to get him something. So Christmas Morning when we woke up imagine my surprise when I saw 2x the gifts I did last night. "Did you do this" I asked Neymar "Guilty as charged" knowing he sometimes went overboard which I don't blame because I also did we made our way to open the presents. Once Davi finished opening all his presents which were a lot as Neymar and I decided to spoil him this year we then went to open ours. We got each other a lot of things also like designer clothes and bags occasionally a few jewelry here and there.

"Thank you baby I loved all of it" giving him a kiss and hug as I thought that was all of the presents "There's one more gift and for this one I'm going to need you to close your eyes" doing as told I waited for Neymar to return as I heard him getting up and leaving the living room. "Okay open them" opening my eyes I saw probably the best gift ever "You got me a puppy!" in front of me sat a golden retriever mixed with a poodle also known as a doodle "Yeah I knew how much you've been wanting one so I got it for you and it's a girl so you can name it whatever you want" cuddling her in my arms as she was to cute not to "I'm going to call you Iris" after settling down from everything for the rest of the day we stayed in our pjs and watched movies while drinking hot chocolate.

Following Christmas there was New Years and unfortunately Davi couldn't join us as he was with his mom. "So Leo invited us to a New Years party" Neymar told me as we were watching T.V "Do you want to go" he asked me "Sure I mean he did come to my party so yeah let's go". "So is it more formal or casual wear" I asked him as he knew more about the party then I did "Its more of a dressy kind of party at least Leo said thats what Antonella told him it was" classic Antonella "Well this gives me a perfect idea on what to look for when shopping today".

"Princess are you ready" I heard Neymar call from downstairs "Yeah just putting Iris in her pup room until we get back" yes I had a room built for my dog but in my defense she deserves it as she's been a good dog when it comes to training. "Wow mi reina (my queen) you look absolutely gorgeous" was the first thing I heard as I made my way to the door "Well thank you mi rey (my king)".

Arriving at Leo's house I could already tell it was going to be a long night as I saw Marc puking his guts out in a bush. "Neymar and Amará so glad you guys could make it" we were greeted by Leo once we entered the house "Glad to be invited" I said as I scanned the room for Antonella and the girls. "If your looking for my wife she's in the dining room with the rest of the girls being chismosos
(Gossips) laughing at him I told Neymar a quick "see you later" before heading to the dining room with the girls. "Amara you made it" Antonella said when she saw me "Yeah well it's hard to say no when it's you" sitting down with the girls I said hi to all of them "Love the dress by the way" Shakira told me "Thank you but look at you Mrs. My hips don't lie you look stunning in that two piece" from there are topic went to fashion and clothes.

Neymar's POV

"So Neymar how are you and Amara" Gerard asked me "Great man she's perfect I swear I love her more and more every day" and it was true each day I fall even more in love with her. "Aww is our boy in love" with that being said Luis got the rest of the boys to tease me to. "Alright alright leave the kid alone" Leo said as he was the father of our little group "Thank you Leo" I told him appreciating him getting the guys to stop teasing me.

"But in all seriousness Neymar do you think Amara's the one" and with Leo's question it all fell silence. "I mean in all honesty I think she is I just don't know if I'm good enough to be her one" in reality this was true I always thought Amara deserves better than me.

"Hey don't sell your self short kid your her one I could see it in the way she looks at you and I know you see it too your just afraid that if you let yourself have her it's going to be another Bruna situation which it's not" knowing what Leo said was true as I did believe that if I did have happiness it would either be fake or snatched away from me. So I needed to let go of my pass or I'm never going to see my future which is Amara and only Amara. "You know your right Leo it's not a Bruna situation because Amara has to much of a golden heart to ever be like that evil women and I need to let myself have something good for once in my life". It was quiet until Luis decided to break it.

"Anyways moving on from this sappy stuff how are you handling knowing Amara's going to be absent a lot next year with all the World Cup stuff also her contract with Barcelona's finishes next year". Amara and I haven't talked about her contract ending as we decided to worry about that when the time comes which is a month before the World Cup.

"Well me and Amara haven't discussed her whole contract thing yet but for the World Cup she knows I can't make it to some of her games because of my schedule but if she does goes to the final I will be there I promised her" so with that being said the conversation drifted away from me and on to something else.

Amara's POV

"Come on girls it almost time to countdown" making my way to the living room I instantly found Neymar talking by the fireplace with Gerard "Hey babe" I greeted him as he put his arm around me and Gerard went to go find Shakira. "I missed you my corazón(heart) what did you and the girls discuss" telling him a quick "Nothing" before the countdown began

Happy New Years

Like every couple in the room Neymar and I kissed to great the New Year. "I can't wait to spend another marvelous year with you" Neymar said as we parted lips "Me neither" if only I knew how much pain next year would bring me.
