Time skip to that night- Slytherin Common Room
That night, after a whole busy day of classes and visiting the library to complete her homework for the day, she decided to finally get back to the common room and write the letter to her father about Harry. She smiled all the way back there, thinking of all the events that happened in just a day, Harry embarrassing Malfoy, embarrassing Snape at Potions, and befriending her long-time crush. It seemed fate was smiling from wherever they were.
As soon as she entered the common room, she immediately frowned, she saw the loathsome fivesome comprising of the blonde git Malfoy, the ugly pug Parkinson, tweedle troll one Crabbe, and tweedle troll two Goyle.
Upon seeing Daphne, Malfoy stood from the couch and approached her. "Hello Greengrass, fancy seeing you here."
Daphne rolled her eyes in disgust. "Hello blonde git Malfoy, not fancy seeing you here."
"YOU WILL TALK TO ME WITH RESPECT GREENGRASS!" said Malfoy, turning red. "I am the heir of the house of Malfoy."
"The same house that used to be peasant farmers from France, yeah, sure I can respect you," said Daphne. "Give one thing that you did that was worth my respect."
Malfoy was still red as he sputtered and sweat. "I am skilled in potions!" he said with a bit of pride.
"That's because Professor Snape helps you and because he's biased against other houses," said Daphne coldly. "Your his godson, of course he'll help you pass."
"You take that back!" said Parkinson. "Draco is skilled in potions with or without Professor Snape's assistance!"
"Well, the pug speaks!" said Daphne with fake surprise but toxic. "Have you told Malfoy the only reason your with him is because of his fortune?"
Parkinson winced but glared at Daphne, Malfoy was still sputtering, getting his wand out and aiming at Daphne. "I gave you a choice Greengrass, you should have chose me instead of Potter, he has nothing compared to me!"
"Oh please Malfoy" said Daphne smiling. "He's the heir of the most Noble and Ancient house of Potter, they produce the most powerful wizards for the past millennia and you have seen Harry, he's more pureblood than you could ever be."
Malfoy was red and was about to shoot out a verbal dark hex but Daphne beat him to it, aiming her wand at Malfoy's crotch and shooting a strong nonverbal freezing charm at it, making Malfoy collapse, holding it while whimpering in pain.
"Oh Malfoy, you poor thing," said Daphne as she walked passed them and looked at Crabbe and Goyle. "Take him to the hospital wing, I am sure Madame Pomfrey can still recover his posterity."
They both nodded and helped Malfoy up and bringing him to the Hospital wing. She began laughing silently as she walked to her room. Upon entering, she began preparing privacy charms and silent charms that were taught by her mother when she was young. She took a deep breath and dropped her cold mask and began to laugh a bit of what happened minutes prior and exhaled.
She then sat on the desk and prepared a new piece of parchment to write to her father, Lord Cyrus Greengrass, current Lord of the Most Ancient and Noble House of Greengrass. She brought out a dicta-quill, a quill that would record anything she would say and set it up in a letter setting and began speaking.

Dearest Father,
Hello father, I am writing to you from school for a small request. I had just befriended Harry Potter, the son of your old friends in Hogwarts, when I accidentally met him in the Astronomy Tower late at night and we discussed about his life.
