'It's your job to secure their fate. I trust you to do the deed.'
'Don't worry about me. Worry about them. They're hard to follow.'
The room was empty save for a stainless steel table in the centre and two occupied chairs. Three folders were sitting atop the table, two were filled with many different pieces of paper and the other was slim with almost nothing within. The lights were dimmed as the two men held their brief meeting. The young man leaned back in his chair causing it to creak slightly under his large frame. The other man, an older version of the young one leaned forward.
'This cannot go badly otherwise there will be consequences.'
The young man knew exactly what the consequences of failure would be but he acted casual. 'Nothing will go wrong.'
'Good. They will be leaving within a few days so be ready.' With that, the two men stood and shook hands and the older one turned on his heel and left the room. The door swung shut silently leaving the younger one alone. He piled the folders and slipped them into his briefcase then surveyed the room once more before leaving. He knew what his job was and he was not going to fail.
