“What the fuck happened here?” I asked.

“Long story.” Luke mumbled.

He put his arms under Michael’s and heaved him up off the ground.

“Can you take Calum home?” Luke asked. “I’ve gotta get Michael home.”

“I already told you yes on the phone.” I said.

“Right… I forgot. Sorry…” Luke muttered.

“Can I have his phone?”

“It’s next to him on the ground.” Luke told me.

I picked up Calum's phone and slipped it into my pocket before slipping my arms under his and pulling him off the ground. I put his arm around my neck and wrapped one of mine around his body.

“Thanks Astrid!” Luke called.

“Yeah, yeah.” I muttered.

I walked Calum to the van and helped him get in.

“Astrid.” Calum mumbled. “Where are we going?”

“You’re going home.” I said, reaching over to buckle him up.

I walked to the other side and got in the car. I buckled up and started the engine and headed to Calum’s house.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Once we arrived I parked on the street and got out of the car. Calum was starting to get out and was clinging to the door for support. I held onto him just as I had before and started walking towards the door.

“Dammit, Calum.” I mumbled. “What were you thinking?”

“I wanted to make Ashton feel better.” He said.

He spoke slow and his speech was slurred, but he was still easy enough to understand.

“Where are your keys?” I asked.

Calum motioned to his pocket and I groaned.

“If I was looking to go fishing then I’d have moved somewhere else.” I muttered.

I reached into Calum’s pocket and felt around for his keys. My finger hit the cold metal and I wrapped my hand around it and pulled them out of his pocket. I stuck the key in the door and unlocked it and lugged him inside. I pushed the door shut with my foot and started dragging Calum towards his room.

“Astrid,” Calum said. “I think Ashton loves your sister.”

            I rolled my eyes.

“That fucker doesn’t love anyone.”

“Not true.” Calum said.

I pushed his bedroom door open and pulled him inside. I pushed him down on his bed and pulled off his shoes.

“You’re so pretty.” Calum said, staring at me as I moved.

“Shut up, Calum. You’re drunk.”

“I’m sober enough to know you’re pretty.”

            I rolled my eyes.

“You don’t know anything.” I said.

“I know I like you. You’re pretty and nice and funny and you like me.”

“Whoa, whoa, whoa.” I said. “Who says I like you?”

“I know you do. You look at me like Mikey looks at pizza.” Calum said. “And Luke too and how Abbie looks at Luke when she doesn’t want to kill him.”

I sighed softly. He may be drunk, but Calum still seemed to notice a lot.

“So I like you,” I stated. “So what? You aren’t going to even remember this conversation tomorrow morning.”

Calum pushed himself up off his bed and stumbled over. He grabbed onto my shoulders and I pushed him up. Calum looked up at me, swaying slightly.

“Maybe I won’t,” he said. “But maybe I will.”

Calum smirked and then cupped my face and pressed his lips to mine. I tensed up and then slowly relaxed and kissed him back. Calum pulled back and looked at me and I shook my head.

“You smooth mother fucker…” I mumbled.

            Calum shrugged and grinned.

“What can I say?” he asked. “I know how to get what I want.”
