"Well we have to start somewhere." I said smiling to Shawn. This made him smile and he hugged me.

The rest of the day went on, we played with Aaliyah in the snow after Shawn's grandmother came over, and overall, I had a great Christmas.

*A few Weeks Later*

Shawn and I had been packing to move to Cali', we were driving down there, with the moving trucks.... So that will be fun.

(Btw, I'm pretty sure u can't do that but... Whatevs!)

My mom was crying while hugging me.

"Don't be sad mom, I'm just.... Growing up." I tell her trying to comfort her.

"I know... I'm just going to miss you." She tells me. I smile.

"I'm gonna miss you too but I promise I'll visit." I say. She nods.

We walk outside to where my car is, I get in the drivers seat, and unroll the window.

"Skylar." She says getting my attention.

"Yes?" I ask. She giggles a bit. "Make smart choices." She tells me.

"Of course, I'll hopefully get a job and work on my music..." I start but she cuts me off.

"I mean with Shawn." She says. I get a bit serious. "Mom, trust me, I'm not a little kid anymore, I appreciate your concern though." I explain.

She nods. "I love you."

"Oh my god Shawn this place is beautiful!" I say excitedly as the movers walk by us with our furniture.

"Yeah it is. And it's ours." He says and then looks at me. I smile a big smile.

We carry in boxes and things for about an hour.

"Thankyou." I say handing the movers money. "I would've payed for that!" Shawn crosses his arms and pouts.

I lean in and kiss him on the cheek. "Gosh Mendes, you realize I'm not exactly poor anymore." I say with a little giggle.

For the rest of the day we unpacked and fortunately because of my need to have pretty much everything in order, we got everything set up.

Shawn and I both know where all the rooms are.

There are 3 guest rooms and one master bedroom which has a huge bathroom. The guest rooms are all beside each other with a bathroom outside of them.

It's kind of a one floor house because it's so big.

Then in the backyard there is so much room with a big apple tree and a strawberry bush and a big pool!

This is like one of the best houses I've seen! Also the O2L house is pretty nice.

"Ugh, I'm exhausted." I moan and fall backwards on our bed.

Shawn leans against the wall. "This is perfect." He states.

I sit up on the bed. "Thank you, so much." I thank him.

He just smiled sweetly.

"I'm gonna take a shower." I say and walk into our bathroom.

I get undressed and wrap a towel around my naked body so I can take my ponytail out.

Then the door opens and in come Shawn.

He slowly walks in looking at me, and smirks, then comes behind me and wraps his strong arms around my body.

I take out my ponytail and try to get him off while laughing, looking at him in the mirror.

"Shawn let go! I need to have a shower." I laughed.

"Only if I can join you." He says daringly, looking at me through the mirror.

My mouth drops open and I laugh. "And what makes you think I would do that." I smirk.

He leans in and whispers seductively in my ear, "Remember, I'm not the one practically naked."

He finally lets go and I turn on the shower and take off the towel.

*A month Later*

California has been so nice for us, and today Nash and Cameron are moving here!

I also believe the Jacks are getting a place here in a week or so.

I woke up, the sun was shining through the window.

I smiled, this is so much nicer than Canada.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love and miss Canada, but sometimes it's nice for a change.

I was laying next to Shawn.... With no clothes on....

I started to run my fingers through his brown hair and he soon opened his eyes slowly.

"Hey beautiful." He says in an adorable morning voice.

"Hey." I reply, still running my fingers through his hair.

He just watched me.

"You're so beautiful." He tells me. "Aw, you see this is why you're perfect." I say blushing.

He laughs. "Perfect? Anything but."

I crinkle my forehead. "What do you mean?" I ask confused.

"I'm not perfect, if anything you are." He tells me. "Why me?" I ask still confused on what he meant.

"Everyone only likes me because I'm 'attractive' or 'famous. I hate it.... Being labeled 'famous' is like being named.... Weirdo." He explains.

"But you, you accept me for me, you complement me for who I am, not what I'm known for." He finishes.

"I guess you're right, I love you because, you're so sweet, and confident, and caring. Your so funny and you don't care what anyone else thinks of you." I say.

"And most importantly, I love you because of the impact you make on so many lives. You've done things kids could only dream of being or doing." I explain.

He listens carefully.

"You took a simple and beautiful thing like 'talent' and turned it into something you love to do, more than anything in the world." I finish.

We were looking at each other, then the phone rang.

He rolled over and picked it up.

"Hello? Okay." He speaks into the phone and hands it to me.

"It's for you." He says and a big grin emerges on his face.

"Hello?" I say into the phone.

"Hi, this is Cole from Diamond records, if you have a moment I'd like to talk to you." He says.

"Of course!"
