It is July 2nd.

"Hey Sky' can I ask you something?" Shawn said through the phone.

"Sure." I said and turned the t.v. I was watching off.

"Will you come to Cali' with me?" He randomly asks.

"California?! What for?" I ask confused.

"Well, Nash Grier, his brother Hayes, Carter Reynolds, Matthew Espinosa, Jack Gilinsky, Jack Johnson and some others are meeting up there for a few weeks to hang out." He explained.

"And they want me to come... But I can't be that long away for you... So I want you to come too." He said sweetly.

I smiled. "Aw Shawn. I would love too. I would miss you too." I say.

"You will? Aw thank you, ok well I'll text them back and by the way it's in 2 days. Love you." He sayed.

"Love you too." I said and hung up.

I ran downstairs and found my mom in the kitchen. "Hey um mom. Can I go with Shawn to California?" I asked.

"California? What for?" She asked.

"Well um Shawn met these 'famous' guys, and they want to hang out and talk business." I explain.

"Why do you have to go?" She asked me.

"Because I promised Shawn I would go!" I protested. "I can't break a promise mom." I tried to persuade her.

She thought for a moment. "Ok, you can go but-" She started. "Oh thank you thank you!" I said interrupting her.

"BUT. No fooling around with him." She said. I put my hand on my head, then removed it.

Gosh she is so embarrassing. "I know mom." I lied.

"Ok, and also I'm taking a trip for a month to Britain, for my job." she started.

I nodded. "So here." She said pulling something out of her pocket.

$500.

She handed the cash to me. "Wow. Um... You don't have to mom I have money." I said.

"No, I feel bad. So please." She proclaims.

"Thank you." I say accepting the money.

"Hey you all set?" Shawn asks as he helps me grab my suitcase and puts in the backseats with his stuff.

"Yep." I said smiling, putting my guitar on the floor in the back of his mustang.

"Hah, yep, can't leave the guitar behind." He said giggling.

We got into his car and he drove us to the airport. When we were almost there he looked over at me.

"Do you over take it off?" He asked pointing to my chest where my neckless that he gave me was.

I smiled and grabbed it. "I havnt taken it off since February 14th, I just clean it really well." I explain.

He smiled. "Good."
