Future Professor Mendes

Hey Everyone, I know it has been a while I have lots of half-finished stories and Ideas. I am almost done with my first quadmester of the year which is my worst. So once this one is done I will update more often. 

4 Years Ago...

Shawn walks up to Camila and says "Goodbye Mila" "Bye Shawny Boy, I'll see you at the AMA's right?" "Actually I'm not going" "Why Not?" "This was my last performance, I'm gonna go back to school, I actually got early acceptance to the Royal Conservatory of Music and I was hoping to become a music teacher, so I am gonna leave Hollywood for a while." "We'll still talk though right?" "Of Course"

Present Day

Shawn is sitting in class at UofT (University of Toronto) completing his second semester of teacher's college. Then he feels a buzz. He picks up his phone, he sees a text from Camila saying "Babe I know you don't want to fully come back into the music industry, but will you do one song with me?" The clock turns to 10:30 AM so Shawn walks out of class and back home, as it is his only class of the day. When he walks in he sees Camila sitting on the couch. He puts his bags down by the door then goes to give her a kiss.

Camila asks "So what do you think about doing a song? I do have an idea" ''I Like it as long as I don't have to keep coming back for all of your collabs." "Okay, so here is the base lyrics"

2 weeks later

Shawn and Camila sit on the plane to go to LA for their promo week. Shawn hasn't been back in four years. Camila's manager was going to represent him for this week. Their first show is James Corden. Shawn and Camila sit in their dressing room and are waiting to film. Shawn sits on his computer after he gets his hair done. He finishes his assignment and submits it. He closes his laptop with a sigh and Camila walks over to him. She says "All done!" "Yep!"

Shawn and Camila head down to where they are filming Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts. Shawn looks nervously at Camila as they sit down. He shifts nervously until James comes up to them. He says "Hey Shawn! It's been a while! How are you?" "I'm good what about you." "I'm great being your last interview before you left and your first one back is a big honour." "I'm not back dude... I am only doing this for Camila them I'm going back to class." James sighs and then gets the signal to start.

James explains the rules of the game. Then he says "Tonight we have some very special people joining us, Multi-Platinum grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Camila Cabello, and a face we haven't seen in 5 years, Shawn Mendes!" Shawn waves at the camera and James says "We are going to start this with asking Camila a question, Camila if you don't respond you have to eat this cod sperm. Your question is did you know Shawn was going to leave before he did?" "Kind of, he told me he was leaving the day he left he said goodbye and went back home". James looks at Shawn in shock and Shawn looks back at him blinking, seemingly unsure what the issue with that is. "What I kept in contact" James says "Camila now you choose a food for Shawn to eat."

Camila smirks and looks at the question, then says "Shawnie Boy you will be eating a tomato" Shawn gives her a look but Camila continues anyway "Why did you leave the music industry?" Shawn looks at the tomato then gives Camila a look for permission she nods so Shawn says "Well, number one I got a full-ride scholarship to the largest most prestigious music universities in the world then decided to go to teachers college at UofT where I actually am on the soccer and basketball team as well as head of the spirit committee. But the other reason is that my former label told me that I could not be with Camila because the "will they won't they" was a bigger draw than a real relationship. I was told if I told the world about my relationship or even continued it I would be dropped, so I continued it and went to university"

James sat there with wide eyes and with his jaw dropped, clearly shocked at Shawn revealing so much. He says "wow, wait so you two were dating" "yes" responds both Shawn and Camila. Shawn says "Moving on now, I get to ask you, James, a question. But first, you are going to eat cod sperm, your question is "Did my former label pressure you into asking us about our relationship?" James says "Yes, they told me I had to in order to expose you guys".

They do a few more turns asking random questions. Shawn did not eat anything nor did Camila. Eventually, they walk down to the couch for their interview.

James asks Shawn "So Shawn what are you studying right now." "Well, when I was in University at the Royal Conservatory I studied production, vocals, and stringed instruments, I can now play a bunch more instruments, I also minored in management, and might as well know what's going on. But now I am in teacher's college, I have one last semester, actually, Hello Class, remember to practice, I am assistant teaching a music class in a high school so I assigned them one of Camila's songs to practice."

Throughout the week Shawn and Camila go to a bunch of different places to promote the song they eventually go to Ellen who asks "Shawn why did you choose to come back?" Shawn chuckles and says "Actually I was coming back from class and Camila here was sitting in my apartment saying that she wanted to do a song, I only agreed given that I didn't have to do all of her collabs in the future. I am only here for this song then I am going back to school". "What! You are not staying! We finally got you back!" "I like living where I don't have to worry about paparazzi following me everywhere. It is peaceful."

4 years later

Shawn walks the red carpet holding his wife and children's hands. Camila is starring in her 4th blockbuster movie. After four years of teaching music he decided to release a surprise album, it went number one and all 13 songs on the album took up the top 13 spots on the billboard 100 chart. Shawn stayed happily at home with his family and every few years or so he drops an album about how he feels. He goes between Hollywood and teaching. And he lives happily ever after.
