How can this end when it's never begun?
How can we hate with no concept of fun?
How can we die when we never were born?
How can we fail with no lives to be torn?
How can we climb without legs and arms?
How can we wake with unplugged alarms?
How can we smile with no sight of a sun?
Don't be done,
Before we ever,
Begun.
This is not just the cover.
This is not the epilogue.
This is not just the last page.
This is more than the prologue.
We are not simply faces!
We are not dead inside!
We are not empty people!
We are the pen;
And our books are always open.
We like to think, like to sink, like to be at the brink of the disaster.
We like to lie, like to cry, like to be in the light of our demon master.
And when you stop, when you drop, your at the top and can't go any faster.
Just remember this,
Life is a book, and we are it's writers.
Every good book has its hard cover.
Every poor girl finds a prince, a lover.
Don't feel bad if today is crap.
You can always start tomorrow from scrap.
Every large flame leaves a trail of ashes.
Every good car eventually crashes.
Don't feel bad if today was worse.
It can always get better of course.
This is not just the cover.

This is more than the prologue.

We are the pen;
And our books are always open.
And when our pencils run out of lead, don't head.
Your way into the empty cold bed, I said.
Don't sleep with the thoughts of the dead, no dread.
Just dream.
Tomorrow is the beginning.
Just know.

Just think!
