Chapter 3

Ty'sPOV

I paced back and forth as I waited for Sahiri to give me the signal. I kept my eyes on Sky's bedroom window. From my position, I could see Sahiri clearly. She walked over to the window, Sky close behind. He helped her open it and she gazed up at the stars.

"It's beautiful, right?" She asked Sky. He seemed to be enchanted by Sahiri. Any man would, even I had my controllable urges.

"Not as beautiful," Sky said. He gently spun Sahiri around so she was facing him. "As you." He nearly murmured. Sky moved closer before kissing her. I watched Sahiri's hands closely. She gave me a thumbs up, telling me to advance with my plan. Skyler's birthday was only a few days away now. That meant I had to work quickly.

I ran around to the back of the castle, using my wings to move faster. I then used my claws to climb up the cobblestone wall. I crawled up to the last window at the top, then lightly tapped the glass.

"Dad?" A startled voice cried. I smile widely and tapped again. "Hello?" The voice called again. I moved up more so that my face could be seen through the window.

"*gasp* Who.... U-Uncle Ty?" She guessed. I nodded and tapped again. In the dim light, I saw Skyler stand from her bed and transform in the blink of an eye. She then rushed over to me and the window.

"Uncle Ty! You're ok!" She wrapped her arms around me and hugged basically my head. I moved up more and rested my head on her shoulder.

She began to bombard me with questions. "Where have you been? Why do you keep attacking us? Will you still teach me how to fight? Wh-"

I pressed a finger to her lips and retracted my claws so that I fell off the wall. I opened my wings and swooped away from the ground just before impact. I then landed and ushered Skyler to follow. She did and landed next to me.

"Uncle Ty, what are we-" she started. I pressed my finger against her lips again and pointed to the cliff of a mountain not far from here. She nodded and flew towards the cliff. Of course, being the lazy person I am, I simply teleported to the cliff and waited for her to land.

When she did I shh'd her again even though she hadn't said anything. "Skyler, would you like to learn to fight?" I asked. Her eyes opened wide and her mouth fixed itself into a big and bright smile. She squealed and hugged me tightly.

"Thank you thank you! OMG! I won't let you down!" She promised. I hugged her back and teleported us to my cave. When she opened her eyes again, she gasped in surprise.

"Woah..." She stood up and began to look around. I grinned and teleported quickly to my potion room.

"Have you finished the potion?" I asked my little helper. He looked up at me sadly and nodded.

"Good job." I took snatched the bubbling blue potion from him and walked away.

"Ty?" He called. I sighed and looked over my shoulder.

"What."

"I think I'll becoming ill. Is it ok for me to use what's left to create a health potion?" He asked.

"Sure thing. Just make sure it comes out of your pay."

"Thank you." He said. As I walked away, I chuckled to myself.

"No problem," I said laughing harder. "Seto."

I then teleported back to where Skyler was...
