Skyler's POV

The day flew by fast, and it was finally my birthday. People from all over had gathered to celebrate on the castle grounds. I was finally turning 18.

I sat in my room watching all the teens walk up to the castle. I noticed that out of the whole crowd, only two people stood out to me. There was that cute guy, Dennis Richardson from Stefani's---I had to make sure I kept an eye on him. The second person was a girl with black hair, red shoes, black pants, and a red hoodie on. From where I was standing, she was sporting two very realistic cat ears on her head. I felt curious and was about to turn to go downstairs, but I was stopped by my stylist who wouldn't dare let me leave her sight wearing a bed gown and bed hair.

"Miss. Please. Let me freshen you up." Ingrid said. Ingrid was a small pale woman. She had big and beautiful green eyes and curly red hair. I think she's Irish, but she doesn't have any accent.

"Ok, fine." I pouted. I walked back over to her.

"Thank you ma'am. Would you like to were a simple dress or a ball gown?"

"I guess a dress will work." Ingrid nodded and went to my closet to get the dress we had been saving for this day. When she came back with it, I sighed from its beauty. Yes, I have a girly side to me.

The dress had a black glitter for the top half, and the bottom had pink fluff flowing from it. Ingrid must have done some patchwork because there was now a black bow sewn around the waist, and  two black, fingerless punk gloves attached to the hanger. She sat the beauty down in my bed and began to undress me.

The dress was so much better on me. I had never worn it until this day. It made me feel so feminine. When a dress does that to a girl, it means it's a beautiful dress.

I was sitting silently while Ingrid styled my hair. She brushed my hair back, pinned some up, tied some up, braided some, and flat ironed some. I could tell she was done when I couldn't feel her small fingers racing through my hair anymore.

I stood up and walked over to my mirror. My hair was so neat, and it matched my wonderful dress. The mid-section of my hair was pulled back into a neat ponytail that hung over the hair that was out in the back. The top of my hair had soft curls that became tighter as they moved into my bang. The magenta streaks in my hair really stood out.

I smiled at myself.

"Ingrid," I said as I looked at her.

"Ma'am?"

"Where would I be without you?" I said. I walked over and hugged her. She hugged me back.

Dennis' POV

I walked around with my sister Velvet. I don't know why, but we were invited to princess Skyler's birthday party. From the looks of it, there were nearly a thousand people here. I glanced up at the castle. It was huge. I had only ever been in a castle once. Minecraftia was being attacked by the Enderdragon. That was before Velvet was born. I looked down at her.

She was rubbing her fingertips together.

"Velvet," I whispered down to her.

"Mew?" She meowed in response. She always does this.

"Stop with the fingers ok. I don't want you accidentally sparking your magic." I warned. She sighed, but stopped. I decided to find a table for us.

"Let's sit down over there." Velvet said. I looked to where she was pointing. There was a gazebo with a free table that could sit 4 people. I nodded and we made our way over to the table.

Back to Skyler's POV

As I exited the castle, the horns sounded. Everyone turned to face me and bowed on one knee.

"Happy birthday." A voice said from behind. I turned to see Dad and Sahiri.

"Thanks Dad." I said back. I mugged at Sahiri for a second before walking down the stairs and out to the gazebo where I was told to sit. I could hear everyone standing up behind me. They went back to whatever they were doing before: eating, dancing, or finding a seat.

At the gazebo, I noticed two other people already seated there. I slowly approached them.

"Um... Excuse me?" I called. The two looked up at me. It was then that I realized it was Dennis and that girl from earlier. "Dennis? Hey!" I said. I rushed over to them.

"Hey Skyler." He said standing from his seat. I walked up to him and hugged him. He hugged back.

"Wow..." The girl said. We stopped hugging and looked down at her. "We've only been in Mincraftia for a week and you're already flirting with the princess." I giggled.

"This is my sister, Velvet. Velvet, this is princess Skyler. The Queen soon to be." Dennis announced. I took a seat next to Dennis' and he sat next to Velvet.

"I know that." Velvet said. I looked at her ears.

"Those are cute." I complimented.

"Mew?" She looked up at me and followed my glance at her ears. "Oh, yeah... Those aren't just some headband. Those are my actua-AHH!"

My eyes widened at her sudden outburst. She glared at Dennis with such anger. "No need to kick me..." She murmured.

"What?" I asked.

"Oh, well Dennis doesn't like when I tell people that mm a cat hybrid. Let's just say grandma was a wild child."  Explained with a giggle. I looked at her with surprise. Am I really speaking to another hybrid? Is this really happening?

"A-are you serious?" I asked. She and Dennis nodded simultaneously. "Really?! I'm a hybrid too!" I exclaimed. I stood up and grabbed Velvet's hand.

"Cmon, I'll show you." I urged. Dennis got up and followed as I pulled Velvet behind the castle and into the garden. After making sure nobody was around, I unzipped the dress in the back so my wings wouldn't rip it.

"Ready?" I asked. Dennis shook his head lightly, whereas Velvet nodded hungrily. I closed my eyes for a few seconds before opening them. I could tell they had changed by the way the siblings stepped back. I let the rest of my body change until I was fully in ender hybrid form.

"That's so cool!" Velvet screeched. She rushed over to me and began examining me. "Holy crap! Minecraftia is gonna be run by an ender dragon hybrid... Awesome!" I laughed at her excitedness. Her happiness seemed to rub off on me and I soon began showing off by flying around the area.

When I looked back down at Velvet and Dennis, I saw a string aura surrounding her and it seemed like she was arguing with Dennis.

I flew down towards them and landed between the two. "Hey, what's going on?" I asked.

"Dennis is being a horrible brother!" Velvet said immediately.

"N-no! Just call down, Velvet please!" He begged. I looked to Dennis.

"What happens if she doesn't calm down?"

"If she doesn't calm down, then her anger will control her actions and she'll start using her black magic against anyone and anything that she views as annoying." He explained.

"Oh... " I said as I looked back to the seemingly glowing girl.

If we don't calm her down, then something bad's gonna happen...
