Chapter 15 (Last Chappie)

Ty's POV

It's been about a week or two since Sky and I made up. He's been extremely nice ever since. It was almost a scary experience to see Sky so nice to me after almost 6 years of war. I thought he'd still be a bit salty after all that I've done, but then again...

I shook the thoughts of Astrea being dead from my head. Her voice seemed to be running throughout my brain ever since I was given our old room back. I almost cried the first time. I was hallucinating and thought I saw my lovely wife sitting next to me in the bed. I tried to grab her, hold her in my arms, but she disappeared.

I'll not sure if it was because of my PTSD but every time I hear a female voice, I immediately think about Astrea being dropped from nearly 600ft off the ground and cracking get skull on the hard surface below.

The even weirder part is that I feel Astrea's presence only around Salem. And it gets weirder; Salem acts, sounds and thinks just like Astrea would. Though she may look different, I sometimes call her Astrea instead of Salem.

It makes me wonder if Astrea ever actually died in spirit.... Look at me - still mourning over my dead wife. Even with the little black box in my hand, I still thought about Astrea. Maybe I'm not over her, but I've got to move on for my own good. I opened the box and examined the dazzling diamond ring inside. A small sigh escaped my mouth, but I quickly closed and hid the box in my back pocket when I heard a voice.

"Ty?" A female voice beckoned. I shivered when I thought it was Astrea again, but alas, it was my girlfriend Nurse Salem. I smiled at her as she walked towards me and sat on the bed next to me.

"Hey Sal." I said. I pulled her closer by her hips, eventually moving her so that she sat on my lap. Salem was so much lighter than Astrea. It was so easy to move her.

"So, Ty.... I have done really big news."

"I do too, Baby. But you first." I offered. She smiled widely and said the two words.

"I'm pregnant." I stared wide-eyed at her , flabbergasted at the thought of me finally being a father.

"Seriously?!?" I asked. She nodded with smiling eyes. "That's..... That's amazing!!!" I gaped. "I can't believe I'm finally gonna be a father."

"Teehee. I can't believe I'm finally going to be a mother." She giggled. My breathing picked up, and I say Salem back on the bed. I stood up in front of her and took a deep breath in and out.

"So now, it's my turn to surprise you." I kneeled on one knee quickly pulling the boxed ring from my pocket and opening it for her to see. Once she realized what was happening, she gasped and covered her mouth in absolute happiness. Tears of joy began to roll down her pink cheeks.

I was about to start my entire speech before I asked her to marry me, but she placed a finger on my lip and nodded. I smiled as I slipped the ring around her finger.

Things were finally starting to look up.

Unknown POV

"He's getting married again?"

"Shut up! I want to see what Sky's up to."

"We are not here for Sky, we are here for Deadlox. Remember your mission you moron."

"I know the mission. We attack Deadlox during his morning flight and kill him. This way, he won't interfere with Boss's plans in the future."

"Good. Now let's go."
