Sky's POV

I was panicking. Skyler was missing again. No guards, or anyone in town recalled seeing her. I swiped my curly hair back and cried into my hands. This is the second time Skyler had gone missing. I was afraid that she might not cone back this time.

Then, I thought back to yesterday. Skyler had gotten angry and flew out of the castle. I knew she was headed to Mitch's kingdom since that's where all the best shops were. Maybe I should ask around there.

In the midst of my thought, Sahiri came up behind me and placed her soft hands on my shoulders. I placed a hand over one of hers. "You know she'll come back." She said.

"Yeah, but... What if she doesn't? What if she ran away?" I murmured. Sahiri wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed my cheek. "She wouldn't run away. Trust me."

"What makes you so sure?" I quizzed.

"Well, you created her. You are all she has left to listen to, to love, to help. She's all you have left, and vice-versa. She'll come back because she can't live without your fatherly guidance." She spoke as if she were speaking with herself.

"I hope so..." I mumbled. I heaved a heavy sigh and rose to my feet. "I'm going to go visit King Mitch's kingdom. I should only be a few hours." I told Sahiri. She smiled and kissed me.

It took me nearly an hour to get to Mitch's kingdom. When I did, I was immediately recognized as King Sky. I ignored the increasingly amount of Hellos and Your Majesty's I recieved.

I ignored them and began asking around.

"I think she went into that place." One girl said. I looked to where she pointed. It was a coffee shop called Stefani's. I held my head up high and marched into the shop.

Immediately as I walked in, I relaxed. The shop smelled heavily of warm coffee, and the casual look of the workers gave the place a homey feeling. It was like indirect therapy.

"Hello, welcome to Stefani's  may I take your or- OH MY NOTCH! KING SKY!" A waitress nearly screamed. The shop went silent and everyone stood from their seats before bowing down on a singular knee. I raised a hand.

"Please, no need for all that." I said. The people stood up and awkwardly sat back down. "Has anyone seen my daughter, Skyler?" I called out. There was silence again, then the sound of a metal spoon dropping. I looked over to the counter and noticed that the workers were all staring at a teenaged boy who had been staring at me. I walked over to the counter.

"Have you seen my daughter?" I asked again. Be seemed paralyzed, but woke from his trance when somebody pushed him forward. He walked over to the counter.

"W-why? Is she... M-missing?" He stuttered. I gave him a look of confusion.

"Yes." I answered.

"I-i haven't seen her since yesterday. She-she came in, ordered a frappe, we talked for a while and then she left." He explained. I nodded and thanked him. I then ordered a hot chocolate.

"2.30." He said. I grabbed the chocolate and dropped a medium sack of gold on the counter, along with a slightly smaller one.

"One for you, one for your business." I said before walking out of the shop sipping my chocolate. As I walked away from Stefani's, loud cheers of happiness could be heard. I smiled and hopped on my horse.

I almost lost Skyler to once, and there is no way...

That I will lose her again...
