"Prez!!" Trace came busting into the office. Jay and I looked up ready to scold him but his face said it was urgent.

"What's going on?" I asked as I grabbed my gun and rounded the desk.
"Bambi just came in. She's bad, boss," Trace said. We ran to the back where we had a medbay set up. Bambi was laying on one of the table all bruised. Jake was there pacing the floor.

"What the hell happened?" I asked. It has been three weeks since everything came out. There had been no word or attempt, Bambi had finally felt safe spending a night at her house. So, I left the prospects to watch her and Jake was going first thing in the morning to check in her. I stood to the side and I watched Doc and Whiskey work. They was medics in the army long ago, so we use them as ours.
"I got a call from Bambi's phone. Kaden was laughing and told me where to find her. Said we better hurry. He didn't want her to die. She's too important." He looked at me. "She was left in her corvette at the lake at the end of her road. She was naked. Doc said she wasn't assaulted. She has broken ribs, right wrist, and a lot of bruises. He said this was just a warning. Letting us know he could've had her. But the timing wasn't right. We came straight here."

"Who else was with you?" I asked.
"That's the thing. Loki and Bones went with me. But Zeron was already there. Or said he was coming from town." He shook his head.

"You don't believe him?" Jay asked.
"No, his bike wasn't there. He claimed he passed her house and saw the door open and ran to the lake. We don't know how he'd known to go to the lake. Loki has him in the cells." Jake replied, "Plus Trace said last night Zeron said he could leave early. Said he even called the Prez right in front of him and asked if he could."
"Doc? How is she?" I asked.
"Stable. Just like I told Tank. She'll live just a bit bruised." Doc answered me.
"Jay, tell Loki to keep Zeron. I'm taking some brothers and going to look at her house." Jay nodded. "Jake if anything changes let me know!"

Hammer, Rowdy, and Jet flanked me as we went to Bambi's house. I couldn't help but think why this happened. I know it had to be Kaden, but can't help but think of why Zeron was there. And why he told Trace to leave. I have to remember to call Reaper and tell him what was going on. We pulled up to her house and see that her door was still opened, and her blood was dried where she stumbled or was dragged to her car.

I motioned for the boys to spread out, Hammer flanked me as we made our way through the front door. I see what was left of her coffee table, looked like someone was thrown into it. Jet and Rowdy came through the kitchen, we made our way into the bedroom and bathroom. Everything was cleared, there wasn't anyone here, now. Rowdy and Jet was still in the bathroom I heard an "oh shit" from Jet and walked in.

"What's up," I went to ask,  but didn't need to. Her bath water was still in the tub, but the water was pink. The metal rod and the knife he used to hit and cut her was in the water. It looked like he then picked her up and beat her in here, there was blood all over. Poor Bambi. She would've never seen it coming, she had her bathroom window open. It was odd considering how nervous she said she was.
