Sam sat in silence, the darkness consuming him. His eyes looked at his phone screen. Colby's phone number in the dial pad, memorized. He wanted to hit the call button so badly. He finally hit a breaking point. He threw his phone across the room getting up and starting to destroy his and Colby's room, giving in to the voices in his head trying frantically to make them go away.
"Sam! Sam! Stop what's going on!" Elton yelled, concerned for the younger's well-being.
Sam continued to throw things and rip his sheets off his bed and pictures off the walls and clothes out of his dresser. He was sobbing, taking harsh, jagged breaths. He yelled in anger and pain and collapsed to the floor sobbing harshly. Elton busted down the door and took the blonde in his arms. Sam wanted it to be Colby, he wanted Colby to be the one holding him. This thought made him sob more.
"What happened? Where's colby? Why did he leave buddy?"
"We, w-w-we bro-bro-broke up!" Sam sobbed, his body shaking with every one.
"What?" Katrina said, pulling out her phone to text someone. It seemed like a rude gesture at the time, but she was only helping.
"He left! We f-f-f-fought! He left me! He's gone..."
"Oh baby..." said Devyn, concerned and shocked.
"Bub..." Corey breathed out sadly.
"I don't know what to do. He was e-e-everyth-thing i-i-i had."
"I know bud, i know. It'll be okay..." Elton soothed the boy.
"No it won't! He's gone forever..."
Sam sobbed into Elton's shirt taking in uneven gasps of air as he broke down.
"He's gone.."
his voice came out as a squeak. Elton had tears in his eyes, the blonde had never been one to show his emotions. He only ever showed them to Colby, that was it. One thing led to another and now he was sobbing in another's arms until he was sleeping.
