Sam and Colby sat on the roof of Sam's house. Colby wanted to watch the sunset and then stargaze on their final night of being seniors. So after some convincing, Sam agreed. So now they are perched on the roof watching the sunset through the trees. Sam had a fear of sunsets. Why? He doesn't know. Maybe it was because another day was wasting away, or it's one more day closer to the end of his existence, one more day closer to whatever end he had. One more day, one more day in passing. Maybe it was just a fear he had that had no explanation behind it entirely. He was petrified of them, but he loved Colby. So he kept his entire body pressed against the brunettes and trembled keeping a death grip on him. Colby didn't mind, he wanted to comfort the blonde, so Colby whispered sweet nothings to him keeping him calm. once the sun was down they laid back and counted the stars and talking and giggling.
"That's not Venus Sam."
"No look! Look it is!"
"Sammy baby, it's really not."
The pair were giggling and laughing and desperately falling in love.
"No look! It is! Babe i have an app! Here i'll show you."
"You just randomly have a fucking app on your phone for constellations?" Colby giggled out with a huge smile as he looked at his adorable.
"Yes sir, I do. Do you have a problem?"
"Never with you."
Sam smiled and matter of factly showed Colby that the star was in fact venus. Colby didn't like being wrong so he joked and said it wasn't and that Sam was delusional and wrong. Sam crawled on top of Colby, resting his back against Colby's chest holding the phone above both of them. Colby placed one hand on Sam's small, thin stomach, slightly grazing the skin that showed when his hoodie rode up on Sam's sides and back. the other went to sam's hair and played with it.
"Look, that's Venus, right? And that's Uranus, and that is Saturn. And then there's mars."
He moved the phone all around, Colby was in awe. not at the constellations, no, at Sam. He was in awe that he had this person, was his. Colby sat up, Sam stopped talking and repositioned himself to look at Colby.
"What's wrong? Was it boring you? I-im sorry. I didn't mean to..."
Colby didn't reply. He just brought Sam's face to his and pressed a soft kiss to his lips. Sam leaned into his kissing back with passion. They pulled away and Sam's face grew a smile.
"Were you trying to shut me up?"
"Never, i just couldn't help myself. Now lets go inside and cuddle. That's how i wanna spend the rest of the night, with you in my arms, lets go."
Sam smiled and Colby stood up extending a hand. Colby climbed through the open window into the attic and helped Sam through. They quietly walked down the ladder being caught by ben.
"You are lucky it wasn't mom and dad. Now go, you woke them up, its 2am."
"Thank you. I owe you."
Sam dragged Colby into his room and shut the door quietly. They slipped into bed and cuddled hearing an immediate knock on the door. They acted as if they were asleep, Sam upon Colby's chest, Colby holding the blonde like there was no tomorrow. Cindy smiled, his son was happy so she was too. She left the room and the pair got up quietly to change and then slip back into their positions. Colby ran his hand through Sam's blonde hair while guiding Sam's hand caressing his bare side. Sam drew patterns on Colby's chest and the other in Colby's hand that was caressing him. Sam loved the moment of silence, as did Colby. They both fell asleep peacefully and when Ben came in to check on them. They looked like a couple who'd been in love for years, and truthfully, they had.
