They arrived at the forest where a lot of demon slayers went missing.
They tried to find where the demon was.

He turned around to see Shinobu wounded, passed out and her hands has blood.
"I didn't notice the demon's presence?!"
"Kochou! Wake up! Don't leave me!"
He quickly carries the injured Insect Pillar. and placed her near a tree where she can't be seen, Since it was midnight.

"You fucking bastard. You'll pay for this" Tomioka was raging.
He unsheathed his sword, And tried to find the demon. Suddenly he appeared in front of him.
"He's fast!"
"Oh? the Demon Slayer Corps sent 2 Pillars for me to kill? Going here is like digging your own grave."
"Upper Moon 6!?!?" Tomioka saw his eyes.
"Finally you realized, You can't beat me."
Tomioka fixed his stance and concentrated.
He realized that Upper Moon 6 was super fast, He wanted to win to protect Shinobu.
"Breath of Water, Eight Form : Waterfall Basin"
Before Tomioka could even land a strike, Upper Moon 6 disappeared. He felt him attacking from behind.
"Tenth Form : Constant Flux!" Tomioka was attacking continuesly while the demon was just dodging every attack.
He looked at Shinobu. "She looks like she won't be able to wake up for a while, I have to kill him right here, Right now!"
"TOTAL CONCENTRATION BREATHING, SEVENTH FORM : PIERCING RAINDROP!"
"He got faster!?! Oh no, He's gonna kill me!" "I can't be killed by a weakass!" The demon tried to escape.
Before he even knew it. His head was separated from his body.
"Serves you right, Asshole."
The sun was rising. Tomioka went to the tree where Shinobu was. He checked to see if she was breathing and if she has a pulse. She was fine. She was breathing normally.
"Thank god" Tomioka kisses her forehead while she carried her.
He ran so fast, He went to the Butterfly Estate.
"Aoi! Kochou needs medical assistance!"
Everyone went outside as they heard the Water Pillar shouting while his voice was cracking.
"Shinobu-sama!" Aoi almost cried
"Master..." Kanao was heartbroken to see her Master like this
"Is she gonna be fine??" Kanao asked.
"Don't worry i'll make sure" Aoi immediately took her to the treatment area.
Meanwhile Tomioka's veins almost popped when he used his seventh form to its limit. When he used it he was like Zenitsu. but faster.

Shinobu woke up. Her vision was a bit blurry but she was fine. She was going to rub her eyes when she saw Tomioka sitting beside her bed holding her right hand. He was asleep because he took care of her while waiting for her to wake up.
She blushed when she saw him. "T-Tomioka-san? She didn't wanna wake him up because he looked so tired. He fought so hard when she was being protected.
"Thank you for protecting me." She held his hand tighter and placed a soft peck on his forehead.
Tomioka wakes up and noticed that she was conscious. He immediately pulls her into a hug. "Tomioka-san? Ara? you must have missed me so much~" She teased her
"Y-yeah. I missed you."
Her eyes widened when she heard him. "Eh??!?" She hid her face
Tomioka puts his hand on Shinobu's forehead. "Are you ok? your face is red. But you don't have a fever" Her face was so red that she could rival a tomato.
They heard footsteps getting closer, "Shinobu, Can i come in?"
"You may!" Mitsuri entered and hugged Shinobu,
"Shinobu! We were so worried about you!" "Tomioka-san can you let us talk privately?"
Tomioka nodded and went outside.
"KYAHH!" Mitsuri squealed.
"Why?" Shinobu was confused.
"You were blushing earlier when Tomioka-san said he missed you!"
"You're inlove!"
"W-What? No i'm not!" Shinobu exclaims.
"I know a couple when i see them! You and Tomioka-san would be perfect!" Mitsuri giggled
