The text

  *RECAP*

After thanking him a thousand times i ran over back to my phone and saw 1 message from Chris's phone number.

It read "Will you go out with me?"

My heart stopped.

I immediately thought "Did i read that right?"

 I glanced back at the text and my heart filled with excitement.

 Chris and i had been texting for the last few months but i had to keep it a secret because my brothers might find out. 

All of a sudden i'm snapped back to reality by my cousin- 

"AYO LIL COUSIN" mason yelled waving is hands in front of my face. 

"You good? You spaced out for a bit. What were you thinking about?"

 After hearing him say that i made the mistake of looking at the text again.

 Mason saw my eyes look down at the phone and saw me smile. He lunged forward and snatched my phone out of my hands.

 I shrieked and tried to grab it back but he just jumped out of the way causing me to fall on the floor. 

He found the text and his eyes widened. He started to read it out loud- "WILL YOU GO OUT WIT-". I lunged and smacked my hand over his mouth so he couldn't say any more. 

Thank god the rest of the family already left the room to eat and didn't hear what he started to say. "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?" i whisper/yelled in his ear. 

"Nuh-uh. Nope. Nada. No way my little cousin is going on a date with a strange boy who just wants to fuck you and get you pregnant than leave." 

I saw him cringe at the thought of it. 

"Oh and he also probably picks his nose" he adds very helpfully.

 "Omg Mason stoooop we have been liking each other for a while now. Also hes not like that. You cant tell the others about this" I tell him with my puppy eyes. 

 He just shook his head and started to march off to tell the others. 

I took a giant leap and latched my arms around his neck and just hung there. 

He wiggled around trying to get me off. It wasn't working so at some some he just started poking and pinching my sides over and over again.

 I shrieked and let go but as soon as i recovered i ran back over to stop him again.

 "Im serious Mason please stop ill do anything just don't tell the others" i begged. 

He started to think, "Anything huh?". 

"Yes just don't tell them".

 "Fine. Do my laundry for a month" He smirked. 

"WHAT?! THATS NOT FAIR" i shouted probably a bit too loud.

 "Orrrr i could go tell the boys about this little mystery boyfriend of yours?" he threatened. 

"Oh my god you're so annoying. Fine i will do your stupid laundry. But only, if you help me sneak out tonight to go on the date tonight" I told him. 

"Howww abouttt no" he countered.

 I rolled my eyes "Whyyy though?"

 "Fine. I will help you sneak out." he smirked again. 

"Uh huh. Whats the catch?" I asked. 

"You gotta do my laundry for two months  instead of only one." He smiled proudly to himself.

 I smacked my head on my forehead. "Fine. I agree to your terms you dipshit" 

"Sounds good. What time is he picking you up?" 

I went to check my phone ans saw he already texted me all the details. 

"Okay he says hes gonna pick me up at 7:30 and to wear something warm. Apparently its a surprise" 

"Okay to sneak out we will need all the boys distracted. That's gonna be hard since there is a lot of us" he whispered carefully 

"So first of all the twins are already going to Ethan's for a sleepover tonight, so they are taken care of." he explained. 

"Then Lucas will be in his room all night doing his schoolwork project about the solar-system or something dumb like that."

 "Jacob will be on duty tonight and Jackson will be on the phone for a few hours doing that job review."

 "The only one left is Ellie and that wont be hard. Of course she will cover for you" he pointed out. 

"Yeah okay thanks so now we have that figured out, what happens if they ask where i am?" I asked.

 "Eh that's not a big deal. Ill just say that you're in your room studying" he shrugged his shoulders 

"But Lily, if you get caught, don't snitch or else your dead". Then he spun on his heels and walked away. 

I quickly rushed upstairs to find something to wear.
