I turned onto my street thinking about what an incredible day this was.

I was so happy.

But all that happiness was crushed and replaced with pure fear when i walked up the driveway and was met by all 6 of my brothers and cousins angry faces...

I stopped in my tracks frozen with fear. Then, i did the first thing that came to mind, I ran. 

You may be thinking, "Why the hell would you do that?". Welp, i panicked. I just spun around and sprinted down the street.

 I heard my brothers and cousins pounding feet coming up behind me. 

I picked up the pace until my feet barely touched the ground. 

Of course i knew it wouldn't be long before they caught me. They were 10 feet behind me.

 All of a sudden i tripped and saw the ground coming towards my face at 100 miles per hour. It felt like slow motion.

 I heard voices yelling behind me but they seemed distant. Then everything went black.

I woke up in a very bright room. They light hurt my eyes. It took a moment to remember what happened.

 Then it all came back to me. They date, Chris, sneaking out, my brothers, the chase, and i remember falling. I dont remember anything after that. 

I looked around and realized i was in a hospital room.

 I shuddered. I HATE hospital rooms ever since i broke my arm a few years ago and i had to get a million shots. 

I started to move around trying to get up when a sharp pain shot through my left shoulder and a pounding in my head. 

I shouted in pain the quickly slapped my right hand over my mouth. 

Too late, a woman dressed in a nurses uniform walked in. She gave me smile. 

"Hi Lily, Good morning. Do you mind telling me how much your shoulder hurts on a scale of 1-10?"

 It took me a few moments to process everything she told me. 

"Er um okay. Like a.. 9?" I said as i saw her write it down on a clip board she was holding.

 "Thank you, the doctor will be here soon" and she walked out.

Jacksons POV:

*yesterday*

I finished my job interview through the phone.

 I was having trouble balancing college and finding a job to provide enough money for us. On top of that, having to take care of my siblings. 

They were sure a handful, but i loved them with all my heart. I would protect each one of them with my life. 

I was tired and hungry from talking over the phone for so long. I decided to go down stairs to eat a snack and check on my siblings. 

I walked down stairs and saw the twins in their room playing Fortnite. I peeked my head in "Hey are you guys hungry? I can make some food?" I offered.
