Elizabeth's POV:

It was dinner time by the time we arrived back into the castle. Malfoy and I split our separate ways once we reached the Great Hall.

I sat with my friends at the Gryffindor table, as Malfoy sat down with Blaise and the rest of the Slytherins.

While grabbing a plate and putting food on it, I was humming a simple tune with a smile on my face.

"Somebody is in a good mood." Hermione points out with her smiling as well.

Harry, Ginny , Ron, Neville and Matthew were all looking at me.

"What? A girl can't be happy?" I question them as I continue to put food on my plate.

"The question is who made you this happy?" Harry chimes in.

"Oh Harry isn't it obvious. There is only one guy that makes her smile like that and it's Draco." Ginny teases me.

I smack Ginny's arm."Will you shut up, Ginny. You talk so loud. Everyone will hear." I hiss at her.

"Are you sure your worried about other people or are you more worried about a specific person?" Ginny smirks.

"Both. So will you please be quiet."

"Well it seems like it doesn't matter anymore. It seems like he might've heard because he's looking at your direction." Ginny tells me with a grin on her face.

Lookin across from the Slytherin table, I see Malfoy looking at me with a smile on his face. He winks at me and continues to eat his food.

I couldn't help but mirror a smile back. Quickly I look down at my plate and started to eat my food.

"So how was your flying lesson?" Ginny asks me.

"Flying lesson?" Ron curiously says.

"I thought you were afraid of heights?" Hermione chimes in.

"I am afraid of heights."

"Then what is Ginny talking about?" Ron asks me.

"Well if you all want to know. Malfoy and I made a deal that if he passes his test with him answering every question correctly, I have to take a ride with him on his broom."

"So how was it?" Matthew asks me.

"At first I was absolutely terrified. But after a few minutes, I started to enjoy the ride. Seeing the scenery from high up was an amazing experience." I say to them as I think back on what happened today.

"For sure Malfoy cheated on the test." Ron throws in a snide comment.

Hermione whacks Ron on the back of his head.

I decided to not start an argument with Ron because I was in such a good mood. I didn't want my day to be ruined by him. So I chose to ignore it.

"Anyways the first Gryffindor match is on Saturday." Harry tries to change the subject.

"Really?! Who are you playing against?" I ask Harry as I shove some roast beef into my mouth.

"We're playing against Slytherin this Saturday."

"So what side are you going to be sitting at Elizabeth?" Ron asks me.
