Elizabeth POV:
Blaise and I make it to the infirmary. Madam Pomfrey meets us at the door and instructs us to put Draco in one of the available beds.
She opens a vile containing some purple liquid. Madam Pomfrey carefully opens Draco's mouth and tilts the vile, making the liquid go into his mouth.
"There you go. He should be fine. All he needs to do is rest here for the next few days and he will be good as new."
Blaise and I couldn't help but sigh in relief. Knowing that Draco will be absolutely fine.
Madam Pomfrey leaves us alone and continues to do what ever she was doing.
I sit on the side of the bed and gently grab Draco's hand. Slowly rubbing my thumb.
"Your good for him."
I lift up my head and face Blaise. He stands there with his hands in his pocket.
"What?"
Blaise walks forward and stares at his friend.
"Draco needs a girl like you in his life. I've been observing the both of you and I really think your good for him.""What makes you say that?" I curiously ask him.
"Draco has changed and I've noticed it since last year."
I give him the look of disbelief.
"Last year? Draco absolutely hated me. You don't know what your talking about."Blaise shakes his head.
"You are so wrong Elizabeth. What is the last thing that you remember from the battle with Voldemort?""What does this have to do with-"
"Just tell me." Blaise interrupts me.
I roll my eyes and start to think back to that horrible day.
"I was running through the castle trying to find my friends. Hoping that they're alright. But I couldn't find any of them. Instead, Bellatrix saw me and gave me an evil smile. Pointing her wand at me. She casts a confringio spell, causing me to fly to the other side of the room. Then the last thing I remember is Mrs. Weasley fighting it out with Bellatrix until I blacked out."
"Is that all that you remember?" Blaise cautiously asks me.
"To be honest I don't know if this was my head messing with me. But, before I gained full consciousness I heard a male voice saying Brackium Emendo. When I opened my eyes I saw that I was in a different area. Away from this whole battle and from a far I saw a glimpse of platinum blonde hair running away."
From that moment, when I finished my sentence, my eyes turned wide. Realizing something for the first time.
"It was Draco wasn't it?"
Blaise nods his head .
"When Mrs. Weasley was busy battling Bellatrix, Draco carried your unconscious body to safety. He made sure you didn't have any broken bones thats why he cast that spell on you. Plus the reason why he ran away afterwards was because that he was worried that some other death eater might find you. Or worst Voldemort."
I couldn't believe it. My mind was trying to register everything that Blaise told me.
"Draco saved me and if it wasn't for him I could've died that day."
I turn to Blais and he nods for my confirmation.
" You know I've known the Malfoys for a long time. Heck I could say that Draco and I are brothers since we grew up with each other. From what I've seen is that Draco grew up with his father teaching him hatred and to be cold hearted. That his father taught him that everyone is below them and that they are higher than anybody else."
