Chapter 21

Draco's POV:

"Elizabeth!" I yell out her name as I watch her run towards the castle.  She doesn't look back.

"Are you happy now, Malfoy? She chose you." Ron says to me with anger.

I feel my blood start to boil. I start to clench my fists and grit my teeth.
"Actually yes. I am happy. You know why? Because she doesn't need to deal with a pathetic person like you anymore. Some type of friend you are. You say I'm horrible but your just as bad. So thank you for showing her your true colors weasel."

I see his face turning red with anger. Knowing that my words were getting to him.

"Now if you excuse me. I need to find Elizabeth. I'm sure she'll need a true friend right now." I snatch the scarf from his hand and walk away from him without saying another word with a smirk on my face.

I start to run towards the castle with Blaise following right beside me. He was worried just much as I was.

"Where do you think she went?" He asks me.

"Let's go check the Astronomy Tower." I tell him.

We both run through the hallways and to the stairs that led up to the Astronomy Tower. Once we made it to the top, we searched everywhere for her. But she was no where to be found in the tower.

"She's not here, Draco. She might be back in her dorm." Blaise says to me.

I shake my head. "I know Swan. She wouldn't go back to her dorm because she wouldn't want to be bothered by her friends."

"Okay? Then do you have an idea where she would be?"

I start to think and a place pops into my head. "I think I know where she is.  Follow me."

The both of us start to run out of the castle and head to my secret spot. Rushing to the lake as fast as possible.

From a distance, I can already see a girl with long brown curly hair, sitting on the rocks with her hugging her knees.

Blaise and I walk towards her. I can see that she was deep in thought. Not noticing us at all.

"I knew you would be here."

She turns her head around and I could see her eyes are bloodshot red from crying. Swan tries to wipe her tears away with her sleeve.

We both sit beside her with her in the middle. Swan just stares at the ground, playing with the tiny rocks.
"What are you two doing here?"

"Just wanted to make sure you were okay." Blaise says to her as he gives her a friendly half hug.

I watch as Swan forces out a smile.
"I had better days but I wouldn't put this on the top of my list for the worst."

Blaise chuckles a little. "Elizabeth your the one whose sad but yet your the one who tries to lighten up the mood. You really are something else."

I was starting to envy my friend a little for making Swan smile. It should be me making her feel better. It seems that these two have some type of close bond with each other.

Blaise looks at me and signals me to say something to Swan. I give him a look of not knowing to say or do.

He mouths out saying to comfort her.

Blaise groans and shakes his head when he sees me staying absolutely still.
"Well I'll leave you two alone. I need to catch up on a few things. Draco here will keep you company,Elizabeth." Blaise gets up from his spot and dusts off the dirt from his clothes.
