July 27, 11:45 pm.

Lance's birthday party was chaos, even though it was only him, his closest friends and his girlfriend Allura.

"Lance! Great party ay? Too bad we'll miss you and Allura's date~." Pidge teased. Allura smacked her lightly. "It's not a big deal, Pidge." Lance chuckled, taking a sip from his cup of punch. They headed back to the living room, where Matt and Shiro were competing in Mario Cart. "Shiro, just give up. Matt's a pro." Pidge said proudly. "Never!" Shiro exclaimed, getting a power-up. "Hey guys! It's almost 12! Lance is going to go on the date of his life!" Hunk shouted from the kitchen. "Hunk, for the last time, it's not a big deal!" Lance hollered.

11:59 pm.

The group was huddled around Lance's cake. Hunk lit the cake. "Alrigjt everyone! It's almost twelve, so wish Lance goodluck." He said.

"5!" Everyone began to count down.
"4!"
"3!"
"2!"
"1!"
Lance closed his eyes.

July 28, 12:00 am.

As soon as everyone's voice rang out, Lance opened his eyes again. He expected to see Allura, unfrozen and hugging him. Wishing him a happy birthday.

Instead, Allura stared blankly at him, frozen. He was befuddled. 'Allura.. isnt my soulmate?' He thought. Lance looked around the room. The only person unfrozen was.. Keith Kogane??? That guy was his rival, and to be honest, Lance doesnt know why he invited him in the first place. "Keith?" Lance said, sheepishly. "Oh my god." Keith buried his face in his hands, hiding the obvious blush. "Guess you're my.. soulmate." Said Lance, the last word rolling off his tongue. "Guess so." The two boys stood there, awkwardly. "So.. where are we going?" Keith asked. "What?" "Well, soulmates normally go somewhere on the others birthday." Lance walked towards Keith. "Where do you wanna go? My brain's kinda still processing that you're my soulmate." Keith thought for a moment. "How about we go to the movies? We could sneak in while the whole world doesnt know." He said, crossing his arms. "Won't the movie be frozen though?" Lance scratched his head. "Oh." The two boys headed towards the living room, grabing chips and a laptop.

1:20 am

"Okay, pause it." Keith said. "What now?" Lance asked, annoyed. "I dont get it! Nebula and Rodey knocked out Star Lord so that they could get the power stone instead of him." Keith motioned his arms. "Okay, so?" Lance massaged his temples. "So, Guardians of The Galaxy wouldn't have happened! Neither would have Doctor Strange since Banner took it!" Lance sighed. "You idiot. Bruce Banner said that the stones would be returned from the same time they were taken." He said. Keith was speechless. "J-just play the god damn movie." He once again covered his face in his hands.

2:30 am.

"Pause it. Again." Lance groaned. It just ended! The credits were rolling and Keith wanted to pause it yet again. "What now, mullet?" "Don't call me that. Anyways, if Captain America stayed there with Peggy, then Avengers, Captain America, all the movies he was in, wouldn't have happened! It doesnt make sense." Keith's voice rose. Lance was getting tired of listening to Keith complain about the movie, so he turned on one of his favorite songs on his speaker.
