Two months later.

AANG'S POV:

I was laying on my bed reading a book Katara recommended to me.

But I couldn't focus on what I was reading because she was always on my mind.

I love her so much I thought I want to marry her.

"Wait what ?" I exclaimed jumping up from my bed.

Do I really? I questioned myself. I actually kinda do I realized.

I made my way downstairs and saw Zuko on the couch I'll just talk to Zuko. "Hey Zuko, I wanted to talk to you about something." I hesitated.

"K, what's up ?" Zuko replied. "Uhh, so basically... I... Uhhh" I hesitated.

"Oh, it's serious." Zuko realized sitting up straighter.

"Yeah, I guess it is..." I agreed.

" Ok, talk to me." Zuko assured patting on the couch cushion referencing me to sit down.

"It's about uhh, Katara" I hinted. "Oh, did you guys get into a fight?" Zuko worried.

"Oh no, no of course not." I confirmed as my hands started to sweat.

"Oh, ok good." Zuko noted, "So, what is it?"

"Uh, basically. I, I uhh I want to propose to Katara." I blurted.

"You want to what ?" Azula interjected walking in.

"Uhh-" I attempted but was cut of by Mai, Toph, Ty lee and Suki walking into the room.

"What's wrong?" Ty lee asked, seeing everyone with a shocked look on their faces.

"Aang wants to propose to Katara!" Zuko gushed excitedly.

"WHAT? Really? That's so great!" Toph exclaimed.

"Aww that's so sweet " Ty lee smiled.

"Shhhhhh! You guys, Katara or Sokka might hear and I still haven't asked Sokka for his blessing." I hushed.

"Oh, c'mon you obviously have his blessing!" Zuko encouraged.

"You think so?" I douted. "Yeah" Zuko answered.

"Hey! What's going on here ?" Katara quizzed walking into the living room.

"Nothing, nothing is going on here we were just talking about how good the weather is outside." I sputtered.

"Really? 'Cause it's raining outside." Katara puzzled.

Ugh I hate lying to her but I have to keep it a secret.

"Oh right yeah, Uhh you- you know me...I like the rain and the cold haha." I laughed nervously scratching the back of my head.

"You do?" Katara wondered.

"Yeah, uh it you know uh like so um yeah I like water bending it the rain you know ? Uh you know what on second thought I'll actually head outside and you know do some water bending haha" I laughed nervously scratching the back of my head again.

"Can I come with?" She asked excitedly.

"Uhh no, sorry babe I kinda just want to be alone right now" I lied again.

All I want is to be with you but I'm scared I'll blurt something out and ruin the surprise, I'm sorry babe...

"Oh, uh ok. Bye then." Katara ended, looking confused.

I saw all the excitement fade away.

KATARA'S POV

I was bored to death in my room.

I heard the others talking in the living room so I decided to join the them.

I wonder what they're doing.

I walked into the living room I saw everyone except Sokka there.

"Hey! What's going on here?" I asked walking into the living room.

They all had this nervous looks on there faces.

"Nothing, nothing is going on here we were just talking about how good the weather is outside." He sputtered nervously.

"Really? 'Cause it's raining outside." I puzzled.

"Oh right yeah, Uhh you- you know I like the rain and the cold haha" He laughed nervously scratching the back of his head.

"You do ?" I quizzed, knowing that he was lying.

"Yeah, uh it you know uh like so um yeah I like water bending in the rain you know ? Uh you know what on second thought I'll actually head outside and you know do some water bending haha" He lied scratching the back of his head again.

I knew he was lying because he always scratched the back of his head when he was lying and he always told me he prefers warm weather over cold.

"Can I come with ?" I asked excitedly wanting to spend some time with him because I was bored.

"Uhh no, sorry babe. I kinda just want to be alone right now" He lied once again.

"Oh, uh ok. Bye then..." I ended in confusion.

And all of my happiness and excitement faded away.
