Hospital

I woke up as I heard Renee say "Are they ok?" Carlisle said "They are fine Renee, Bella, like I said fell out a window and just needs some time to wake up, and RaeLynn was shot by some kid she knew here. I didn't know until her jacket slid down from her sitting up." Renee said "Alex how are you?" He said "Im doing ok Aunt Renee." then Renee said "Jasper promise me you will take care of her, she is damaged but she is still a sweet girl. Mazi has sides like everyone and she has had a hard life after her mom passed. Im surprised Charlie is letting her date anyone given how he acted two years ago and she hasn't answered any of my calls." 

Jasper said "I will always take care of her, I love her Renee. As for Charlie he isn't happy I am dating her but she essentially told him he didn't have any control over her or who she dates. She hasn't answered because Charlie took her phone from her, he grounded her when she started to date a boy name Embry and she has been grounded since. He says it's until she is 18." Alex said "Yeah he also banned her from the Rez and moms house, but Jasper keeps her tamed, He makes her stop and think about her actions and words. He is good for her." Jasper ran his hand through my hair and kissed my temple making me sigh and move. I said "10 more minutes." The door opened and Carlisle said "Sorry Princess time to get up." I rubbed my eyes as someone sat on the bed and Edward said "Food and coffee." I opened my eyes and saw him sitting next to Jasper's legs and so I slowly sat up as my arm hurt, Carlisle must have noticed my wince so he said "Press the button and you'll get more meds." 

Jasper handed me the morphine button so I pressed it then let go of Bella's hand and took the coffee and food. I said "Thank you Edward" he smiled at me and said "Anytime lil sis." I silently ate my food and then Charlie walked in and I tensed up causing Jasper to run his hand up and down my thighs. Charlie said "How is Bella?" Carlisle said "She is ok all we are waiting on is her waking up." Charlie said "Why is she in a bed with an IV?" he had pointed at me so Carlisle said "She was shot in the shoulder, she is also fine, the IV is just morphine to stop her pain." Charlie said "Alright, Alex you didn't get hurt like your sisters right?" He said "No dad i'm fine." Renee went to the cafeteria with Alex and Charlie said "RaeLynn, when we get home we are gonna talk about you running away. Also no more hospitals stop getting into trouble." 

I said "This wasn't my fault. And I am getting emancipated so you have no authority over me." He said "You can try but it won't work." Then he left the room and I let out a breath before flopping back into Jasper's chest. I said "I realize I shouldn't talk back as it only makes the pain worse but I cant always control my mouth. That night the IV was taken out and I slept soundly in-between Jasper and Bella.

The next day Bella woke up, and we all went home.
