We gasped and all three men stared at us, so we went to slowly back away when we heard Billy say "Emily Young and RaeLynn Uley get out here now!" we sighed and slowly walked toward the three men, Sam wouldn't remove his gaze from Emily's face. Emily followed because she may be an adult but Billy and Harry were Elders. We stood in front of my cousin and two of our Elders, Harry sighed and said "Girls what you just witnessed has to be kept secret, you cannot tell anyone do you understand?" we both nodded so Billy said "all three of you sit down" we sat on the porch Emily next to Sam and me in front of him leaning against them both.
Billy said "ok Sam, you are the first shifter in your generation, Now we know for a fact that Jake, Paul, Jared, Quil, and Seth will eventually Phase. The late Sarah and Mazalea both were positive Embry will as well, however that will remain to be seen. Alexander may phase but unlike Mimi he seems to have more of Swan in him so he may not, Mimi and Leah will not phase because as far as we know there has never been a female wolf. Now Sam as a wolf your job is to protect the tribe from Vampires. Sam said "so were all the legends true then?" Harry said "yes Sam" I said "if all of them are true does that mean oneway there will be a Luna Princess? Ive always loved that story I mean I can't imagine someone being mated to a vampire and a wolf but it does sound enticing"
Harry said "as far as we know then yes according to the legends it should be this generation, however that could be you, Leah, Rachel, or Rebecca IF it happens, However we do not want a Luna Princess to emerge." I said "Sam you sounded scared I just wanted to help, Logic went out the window and my instincts kicked in, I heard a terrified Wolf and I just knew I had to help, how was I supposed to know it was you and you didn't need help" he hugged me and said "exactly you didn't know it was me, it could have been a normal wolf who could have hurt you, hell I could of hurt you."
Emily said "I'm gonna get back to hang with Leah" we waved bye to her and went inside sitting at the table with soda. Once back inside I said "so why exactly did you keep staring at Emily?" He put his head in his hands and groaned. "Do you remember the Imprint legend?" He asked, My nod encouraged him to continue "well I am 99% sure I imprinted on her, one look in her eyes and I saw our entire future together, but then I thought of Leah and I don't want to hurt her but if Emily is my mate what am I supposed to do?" I sighed and said "its gonna piss her off but I think you need to try it with Emmy, If she is your imprint, your mate, then you owe it to not only yourself but also her to give it a shot. Don't get me wrong Leah will most likely hate you both forever but eventually she will move on. Im kinda dreading Embry phasing and imprinting on someone that isn't me, but you know as well as I do that according to the legends a wolf cannot survive without his mate once he finds her."
He nodded grabbed my hand and drug me out the door and we walked to Billy's house hand in hand. I skipped like when I was younger and we talked the entire way there, Once in view of the house I froze at the police car in the driveway. I said "Charlie if Uncle Billy wanted me to knock he would tell me so and then I would abide his wishes, but this is not your house" Charlie said "I am your father and you will address me as such, get your ass in the car and you are grounded from the Rez for a month!" I said "or what you gonna ship me away again?" Billy said "Mimi enough" I sighed and said "I'm sorry" Billy pointed to Jake's bedroom so I sighed and did as told sitting on Jake's bed, forcing Jake to roll over. He said "what happened?" I said "I back talked Charlie and Uncle Billy sent me in here" I laid down next to him and he said "so are you grounded to my room then?" I giggled, "I don't know Jake, I wish mom and aunt Sarah were here, they would understand me.
