💚Half-Rim X Specs💙

Summary: Goggles, Bobble Hat and Headphones try to get a date arranged for their friend Specs and his crush Half-Rim. So the three of them work together with Gloves team to set up the date.

Sighing, Specs had laid down on their couch in the living room and looked up at the ceiling. 'God damnit I can't stop thinking about him?!', he thought to himself and groaned quietly while pressing his hands to his head.

'That is so incredibly frustrating...', he thought and closed his eyes for a moment.

Once he opened his eyes again he saw Goggles bending over him and grinning at him like there was no tomorrow which of course scared him. Specs couldn't help and screamed loudly and immediately sat up which only resulted in the both of them hitting their heads together. "Ouch?! What the hell?! Don't scare me like that you idiot!", grumbled Specs and glared at his best friend and teammate who just sat down on the ground, laughing loudly.

"I'm sorry I'm sorry... It's just so much fun to tease you~", answered Goggles and grinned brightly. Specs just rolled his eyes and leaned back, crossing his arms over his chest.

Goggles frowned upon seeing the others mood still hasn't changed at all and his best friend still seemed to be quite down. "What's the matter? You've been quite... Down the past couple of days...", asked Goggles and got up so he could sit down next to Specs on the couch.

"There's nothing wrong... I'm fine...", mumbled Specs and looked away from his best friend.

Goggles only pouted and got up from the couch. He knelt down in front of Specs and smiled softly at his best friend. "Come on... Can you look at me for a moment? Please?", he asked softly. Sighing quietly Specs slowly turned his head so he could look at Goggles. "W-what is i-it?", he stuttered out.

"I'm your best friend and you can always tell me if there's something bothering you... You know that right?", asked Goggles and kept on smiling at the other. Specs bit down on his lip and nodded, thinking of wether he should tell him about his crush or not.

"W-well... Y-you see... I-I...", he stuttered and couldn't help blushing bright blue. "I... I can't stop thinking about him anymore...", he admitted and looked away while he blushed even more if possible.

Surprised by the others answer, Goggles stared at his best friend for a moment before he asked:"Him? Who can't you stop thinking about?"

"Well... It's... It's Half-Rim o-okay?! I have a crush on him and... And I-I... Damnit?!", replied Specs before he got up from the couch and hurried to his room. He had slammed the door shut afterwards leaving a confused Goggles behind.

"What... Happened...", mumbled Goggles and thought for a moment. Headphones and Bobble Hat walked into the living room and seemed to be just as confused as Goggles was. "What happened?", asked Headphones and raised an eyebrow. "He usually doesn't act like that...", she said and sat down on the couch.

Goggles sat onto the couch as well followed by Bobble Hat. "Well you see... I'm not sure if I'm supposed to tell you both about it... It's very personal you see.", he explained and thought of wether he should tell them or not.

Headphones smiled and nodded. "You know we're not going to tell anyone about it. It's like you never told us anything alright?", she asked him trying to find out what this all was about.

Sighing Goggles nodded. "Alright. But you don't have that from me and neither should you both speak about this to anyone else. Specs has a crush on Half-Rim.", he told the other two inklings who seemed to be quite surprised.

"A what... Crush? On Half-Rim? Well... That's quite surprisingly...", said Headphones and thought about it.

Bobble Hat hummed quietly before she said:"He really seemed a little sad and down the past few days... Maybe... We could set up a blind date for the two of them? I'm sure Specs would be happy about it?!"
