I turned around and saw the guy.

Jonas.

"I see you still have the stain on your shirt." he said with a smirk.

"What the hell do you want?" I said, glaring at him.

I hate you so much

"I am the CEO and I wanted to meet the newest member of our team."

Oh you're concerned with your team but not with pouring your machiato on someones shirt.

"Oh, well it's great to actually meet you Jonas."

Go die in a hole.

"And what would your name be, sweat heart?"

"Laurel. Laurel Jibbins."

"And what do you specialize in?"

"Stocks and expenditures."

"Ah, a numbers girl."

"Ya. I am a numbers girl. Why is that surprising?"

"Because I haven't seen a smart girl since I was in college."

"So are you saying that I'm smart?"

"And beautiful." said Jonas.

I blushed and looked away.

"Look, I think we should wrap this up." said mr. gibbins

"Why would we wrap this up? We're just getting started."

"What do we need to do now?"

"Mr Gibbins, you may leave."

"Wait, Mr. Lockhart..."

SLAM. The door slammed in his face.

"So Laurel, tell me more about yourself."

"Why would I do that?"

"Because you work for me. It wasn't a question, it was an order." he said, a bit of anger in his eyes.

"Look, you seem to have issues controlling your anger, so, I'm gonna leave now."

"If you walk through that door, you're fired."

"What do you mean, I'm fired."

"I mean that if you don't sit down and have a proper talk with me about yourself, you are off the payroll."

"Fine, but I still hate you Mr. Lockhart."

"Without the attitude."

"Okay. I was born and raised in L.A. My dad owns Solstice, the designer discount store. My mom is a wedding photographer, I have two siblings, one older brother, and one younger sister. I went to harvard and yale, and I graduate with a double major in finance and economics. I moved away from home when I got this job. You happy?"

"yes. You can go now."

"goodbye."
