Chapter 6

Clarke rushed over to Clarke's side catching her just before her head took a second blow on the ground. "Clarke? Can you hear me?" Lexa sounded panicked. "Octavia call code rouge."

"Code rouge, student down. Coordinates from Octavia Blake shared." Octavia called over the walkie to Indra.

"Game over, everybody return to the weapons shed and wait to be briefed." Everybody heard Diyoza come over their earpieces.

Lexa unzipped her jacket and pulled her t-shirt off to press it on Clarke's bleeding head. Indra, Nyko, and Bellamy could be heard rushing towards them. They came crashing into the clearing with a stretcher in hand. Nyko quickly got to work checking Clarke's vitals while Lexa kept pressure on the bleeding head wound.

"What happened?" Indra demanded to know.

"I'm so sorry, I lost control of my drop-in tactic and I sent her right into the tree. She hit it head first it was an accident, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to." Miller rambled to Indra.

"You're right it was a shitty drop Miller." Octavia said angrily. "Irresponsible and dangerous for you to try."

"I know, I'm so sorry, please don't expel me I didn't mean to do it." Miller pleaded with Indra.

"I don't have the power to expel you. Go to the headmasters office immediately, I will be there shortly, we will have to do a full investigation into this. Accidents do happen here and we understand that but we have to go through the motions to make sure it was in fact an accident.

Miller nodded and left without another word. Lincoln ran up to see Clarke on the ground being tended to by Nyko and Lexa. A worried and angry looking Indra, and a very pissed and panicked Octavia.

Lincoln put his arm around Octavia and gave her a quick side hug. "Bellamy and I can run the stretcher to the school if needed." Lincoln said as he released Octavia.

"Yeah, should we move her now?" Bellamy asked.

"Yes, she is okay to move we need to get her to the emergency room as a precaution." Nyko informed them and they moved her onto the stretcher and starting to run as carefully and quickly as they could to meet the ambulance heading to the field. Everybody else ran with them until they got to the field where the ambulance with the stretcher was waiting.

Bellamy and Lincoln moved Clarke onto the waiting stretcher and stepped out of the paramedics way. Kane had just arrived by the ambulance.

"I'll accompany Clarke to the hospital, Indra stay here and handle the rest of the students please." Kane ordered as he climbed into the ambulance after Clarke.

The paramedics closed the doors and the ambulance took off for the hospital. Lincoln walked up behind Lexa and put his jacket over her shoulders since she was still just in her sports bra having left her jacket in the woods during all the panic.

"Thanks." Lexa pulled the jacket on and zipped it up.

"Yup, sorry about all this, I don't know what Miller was thinking trying such a risky drop in." Lincoln apologized.

"We just have to hope that Clarke is okay and that he learns from his mistakes." Lexa said as she pulled herself together and tried to get ready to try to calm everybody down when she wasn't feeling particularly calm.

"If you need to talk come find me later." Lincoln said to Lexa before walking off to brief with Diyoza and the Zulu unit.

Lexa and Octavia walked over to brief with Indra and the rest of the Delta unit. Everybody had endless questions about what was going on and where Clarke went and if she was okay and who had hurt her.
