Sara's sad hazel eyes raked over her body in the big fancy mirror.The princess white gown made her look exteremly breathtaking and beautiful.Her heavy bosom was lifted up a bit by the corset of the dress.Her long hair was pulled into a fancy bun,with small white decorative flowers in it.
Her make up was light,only underlying her graceful features.A small silver necklace with the infinity symbol hung around her neck.Michael's present for her birthday...
The memory of him smiling charmingly at her as he slipped the small box into her hands hit her like a truck and Sara had to fight the guilty sad tears,her fingers going to touch it.
She had insisted on wearing it and only it despite her father bringing her a thousands worth necklace to wear.
The equally white heels on her long legs were already starting to make her feet ache a little.Her stomach was twisting and turning and she felt the bile raising in her throat.Her hazel eyes were unsure and the doc unconsciously played with the band on her finger.In less than an hour she was gonna become Mrs.Hanks and erase Michael Scofield from her life forever.
The elegant music and the voices of hundreds of people were all numb to her ears as she just stared at the woman in the mirror.
This wasn't her.What had happened?How had everything come to this?The woman that was staring back at her was a coward and a heartbreaker.This wasn't Sara anymore.Not without him. In her ambition to fix everything she had completely lost herself.
"Sara,its time,honey" Katie poked her head thru the door of the doc's bedroom.Sara looked at her but said nothing and instead moved to the window,staring at all the cars and people who were waiting for her to go out there and say yes to Dylan.
"You look lovely" Katie continued as she fully entered the room and closed the door.
"This isn't supposed to be happening,Katie.I'm not supposed to be sad about this wedding.I'm not supposed to not want to go out there and say yes to him" Sara finally voiced what had been in her heart ever since Michael Scofield walked in her life.
But before Katie would say anything Frank came in through the door with the biggest grin on his face,not even noticing the grim expression on his daughter's face.Typical for him..
"Can you give us a minute,please?" He more demanded than asked of Katie and with a last worried glance in Sara's way,the nurse reluctantly left the room.
Sara felt like screaming and breaking everything in that stupid house,but instead she took a deep breath and looked at her father.He looked so satisfied and happy that she was on the right track.But Sara knew it was all for the people.He was so fucking fake that it hurt.Frank was only happy because his daughter wouldn't ruin his reputation. Sara felt sick of him
"You should know I'm proud to see you like this" he smiled at his daughter and hugged her tightly.
"I know" Sara murmured against his shoulder,trying to convince herself for the millionth time that she had done the right thing.
"Let's go"...

Her orbs met with Dylan's and she almost said no,but then Michael appeared in his place and a smile spread across Sara's beautiful face as she imagined the love of her life holding her hands at the altar,ready to be united with her forever.
