TOMORROW / 8PM
OK, the time to go that stupid party arrived.
You're certainly wondering how Mason reacted to this news... Well, he reacted kind of well.... Since I haven't told him.
Before anything starts, this is not because I didn't want to tell him, it is because I hadn't had the opportunity to tell him. He knew I was going to be out that evening but all he knew was that it was with Addi and a party.
Urgh, I hate when everything goes like Addison says it.
But I have planned on telling him as soon as we have a minute together.
Whatever.
Here the mess of that party starts...
"Hum hum, someone took out a quiet hot dress for tonight" Addison said, as soon as she entered my car. I was driving us to Charlie's house.
I rolled my eyes at her and just ignored her reflection. "Aren't you going to tell me that I look good?" she then asked, pouting her lips, and I rolled my eyes again. "People don't usually ask others to tell them they are pretty, you know" I answered and she pouted even more.
"But I'm not gonna lie, you look amazing" I added and I saw her smile growing from the corners of her lips. "Thank you" she answered, satisfied.
The drive started there, we were going from our apartments' building to a very classy out-of-town house that happens to be Charlie's.
As usual, the drive wasn't that short but it wasn't THAT long neither. The most annoying thing in this wasn't the road but the person sitting next to me. If I can call it a person...
She snored like a pig. Literally. I hope she isn't like this when she sleeps home or, I wonder how her fiancé does.
"Addi? Addi! Addi, wake up!" hey, it reminds me of somebody. Lol.
She opened her eyes slowly and immediately sat properly on her sit. She wiped of the saliva on the corner of her mouth and checked herself in the mirror.
I couldn't do that just after waking up.
"We arrived" I said, opening the door of my car that was parking in front of the house. I had struggled to park it since every single inch of that property is crowded.
I don't remember Charlie having that much friends before.
I closed the door of the driver's seat as soon as my two feet were out. I let my eyes scanning the around : the house looked different than when it was peaceful.
I could already see some people making out in the bunches and I could hear others laughing their ass out.
It was really like those frat parties I used to go when I was still a student.
Rectification, I went there only two times. Frat parties weren't my thing. And neither was this party.
"Let the party begin!" Addison sang when we pushed open the two big front doors to enter the house. The music got ten times louder.
"I'm not into partying at all" I mumbled to myself but she heard me. "Can you at least pretend to be?" she said, giving me her most desperate look. I sighed and gave her little too much exaggerated fake smile before looking back at the people around.
"Look, we're here because you're proving something and, we could also take this as an opportunity to spend some good time together" she defended and I sighed. "You're right"
She smiled, proud of her answer, and we both walked through the crowd. "Addi!" someone called from our left and she turned to look at who it was. A smile grew on her face. "Tamara!" she shouted and immediately ran to whoever was calling her.
