It's after a long and boring journey that I arrived at the beautiful and classy my parents moved in when my mother hit the million dollar.

I parked at the front and sighed before opening the door of my car to step out and under the cold rain.

I closed my car and walked towards the front door, putting my key in the lock and unlocked that door.

I walked inside and closed the door as soon as I was inside to minimise the sound of the rain hitting on whatever was under it.

I took a little moment to admire the biggest part of the house when it was empty, quiet and darker than usual due to the grey clouds hiding the natural light of the sun.

I walked towards the stairs to join the first floor where my mother's office was and walked towards the large corridors that were surrounded by huge windows, letting us see the show that the rain offered.

Not that impressive for a 'show'.

I got in front the desired door and stepped inside the office empty of all humanity. It didn't take me a long time to find the fils my mum was talking about and I didn't waste time looking at them knowing that I wasn't in the best mood to be critical.

I walked out of the office and went back downstairs. I was about to grab the handle of the front door when something started ringing in the back of the house.

I stopped my gesture and looked behind me. The sound looked like a phone or something like that.

I decided to follow the sound and I landed in the kitchen where there was a phone on the central island. I was right then.

But whose phone was that?

I went closer and looked at the ID and saw Addison as the name showing on the screen. I answered "Addi?" I asked, verifying something that was already sure.

"Romina?" She asked back, sounding surprised and confused "Who are you calling?" I asked then "I was trying to call dad but I landed on you" she said "Wait, are you in Miami with them?" She immediately asked.

"No!" I answered "Mum just asked me to pass by to their house to grab a file she forgot to give me before leaving, and while I was leaving, you called" I explained.

"Oh" she simply said and a little silence took place. I guess I was a little bit rude in my way to talk earlier...

"Well, bye Addi" I said, breaking the silence because I wasn't really in the mood to spend time chitchatting. I didn't let her time to answer that I had already ended the phone call.

Well, I had to report this forgetting.

I walked out of the kitchen and crossed the center of the house where my dad's huge black piano was.

I had walked so fast to get the phone call that I hadn't even noticed it. But this time, it caught all my attention...

I stopped my steps and just stared at the thing. I didn't know exactly what was happening but I knew it had a link with the passion I had for the music before.

I cut the distance that was between me and the noble instrument before letting myself sit on the adjusted chair. I opened the little protection that was on the keyboard and stared at the white material.

Suddenly, the sound of the rain and the other furnitures of the house disappeared, letting my mind focus on the only picture of a memory blurring my vision :

I was back at the conservatory, sitting on the same chair in front the same piano. But when I looked up, nothing like the house I was meant to be inside was in front my eyes. Instead, I was on the stage of that huge theatre where I remember having my performance for that December exam.
