Room Surprise

Kai's POV

I wake up at 6 a.m. and got dressed deciding to go to the coffee shop on campus. I picked something cute and pastel thinking it would be an easy day. More like far from it.

I grabbed my bunny backpack and a book from my personal library I haven't read yet. Making sure I had everything I headed out to get myself a hot chocolate. Walking outside was calm and relaxing. I wish I brought my sketchbook, but maybe another time. 

With my wireless headphones and my playlist playing 'Yuri on Ice' from the anime. When I reached the building I paused my music walking in and heading straight for the counter. 

I saw a pretty girl with glasses and smiled at her as she smiles back and asked, "Hi, what can I get you today?" I said, "A hot chocolate, please." She nods and tells me the amount while making my drink. I grab a 100 and hand it to her while grabbing my drink. I said, "Keep the change." 

I walked away not hearing her protest as I sat down with my headphones on while reading my new book called 'Stars and Flowers'.  Already in chapter 30, I decided to go to Tessa's room. Packing up my stuff and heading out.

Looking for her room number. Ah, I found it. B-22 aka Tessa's dorm. I open the door to see no one there so I sit on Tessa's bed continuing to read 'Stars and Flowers'. I hear the door open and said, "You know you're a pervert coming into a girl's room secretly." The guy said nothing and grabbed  'The Great Gatsby' so I said, "Once a pervert bastard, always a pervert bastard." 

He said, "What about you?" I replied, "I belong here and you, a sick pervert don't. Never believe perverts read books besides porn." He chuckles and said sarcastically, "I got bored using my hand." I said, "Good. You deserve the pain, asshole pervert." 

He said, "Is pervert your name for me?" I nodded and right this moment Tessa entered the room only in a towel. She didn't notice me or 'Mr.Pervert' here until she opened her closet and saw his reflection in her mirror. She jumps and I said, "Be careful." Tessa looked at me and said, "Kai, what are you doing here? I thought you had class today." I shake my head saying, "I start tomorrow." Tessa nodded turning to the 'pervert' dude. She said, "Um...er...excuse me...er...I think...I think you're in the wrong room." Pervert looked at her and said, "I'm in the right room." Tessa said, "How did you even get in here?" He held up a pair of keys. 

Tessa said to him, "Ok, well can you please go out into the hall so I can get dressed." The pervert said, "Don't flatter yourself. I'm not looking." In came Steph as she sat next to Mr.Pervert on her bed. He said, "Took your time." As Steph took the keys from him and said, "There they are." I rolled my eyes closing my book and grabbing some paper from one of Tessa's dressers. 

Getting a pencil and sketching some random doodles. Steph noticed Tessa and me as she said, "Hey Tessa. Hey Kai." I smile and wave not looking up from my drawing. Tessa said to her, "Hi... er... can you please tell your boyfriend to leave so I can get dressed." I said, "He's a pervert." 

Choosing to ignore their stares Steph said, "Er...not my boyfriend. What did you say to them?" I scoff and said, "More like what hasn't he done to us." Mr.Pervert said, "Nothing. I've been minding my own business with this one," while pointing at me. I laugh and said, "Yeah right pervert." Tessa regaining the conversation back said, "Ok...well whoever he is." I said quickly, "A perv." 

Steph gets up from sitting on her bed next to Mr.Perv and said to Tessa and me, "You both are going out with us tonight." I shake my head saying, "Yeah, no. The only parties I go to are the ones where I'm by myself." Tessa agreeing with me said, "Yeah I don't know." 

Suddenly Mr.Perv said, "I'm trying to picture these two at a party. Definity, not the one on the bed. Just not seeing it." I flip him off said, "Rather be killed than go to a party with you Mr.Perv." I looked him in his eyes saying that with a small smirk on my lips. Steph said, "You two not gonna stay here forever right?" I said, "I will if I want to be." 

Tessa looks at me and said, "Nope, we aren't." I roll my eyes watching Steph and Mr.Perv leave to go to their party. Just Mr.Perv is fully gone he turns to Tessa holding out 'The Great Gatsby' he was reading. He said, "The Great Gatsby. It's a good book...hate to spoil it but it was all a dream."

Tessa grabbed the book seeing him walk out before she said, "Actually...it was all a lie." Making him stop and smile before his eyes went to me he said, "Bye. Miss Bookworm." I flip him off again saying, "Shove it up in your ass, perv." 

And with that, he was gone. Finally. I stop drawing and said to Tessa, "Let's have a movie night." Tessa said while getting dressed, "Sure. Horror or Disney." I pretend to think and said, "Disney." Tessa laughs at my childlike innocence and smiles as we set up for our movie night. 

It was the fourth movie when Tessa was knocked out. I turn off the movie and clean up her room before tucking her into her bed. I kiss her forehead and said, "Good night, Tessa." I turn off the lights and close the door heading to my room. I change into my nightwear and lay in bed thinking about what will happen tomorrow. I sigh hoping maybe things might be able to change hopefully.
